Yeah at the start of last season in particular refs seemed to declare it open season for thuggery on Spurs players.

Isn't it just so annoying we never seem to have 2 players like this in the team. I'm not his biggest fan but that's only because he has shown how good he can be and we simply dont see enough of him at his best. Yet it's imperative we always have a 10 who makes us tick. It was the same with Eriksen and then when he left Kane basically became the 10. Just when you hope we have Kane and Maddison together Kane leaves.

It's a real shame, both for us as fans and for him personally. I know he can kind of blow hot or cold, but when he's on it, he's incredibly influential and effective. He'll be a big loss Thursday and in the final if we manage to make it that far.
