1-3 weeks in a split followed by the same time again doing motion exercises, so probably looking at up to 6 weeks before he can start training, and even then it'll have to be managed to avoid a recurrence. I would suggest we'll see him by Christmas, but not much before. Mid December I'd say.
If correct that's fantastic news.

The trouble can also be the mental effect. I dislocated my shoulder falling down some stairs. Although it felt better as n soon as they popped it back in, I've never had the same range of movement. However I've also been slightly scared to use the same range of movement that I always did. The physio told me that once you have dislocated something you are 50% more likely to keep on doing it. That might be at the back of Lloris' mind every time he jumps ip for a ball or rushes out or dives. He'll begin to second guess himself.

Just reading this... I’m no more positive about him playing before Feb... lines like ‘some people may never regain full mobility...’ even from a simple dislocation, and from a complex one it involves surgery? I am not a doctor. I have zero clue. But it reads like a pretty serious problem for a goalkeeper.
Orthopedic site

Also edited to note: Thomas Sorensen dislocated his elbow playing for Sunderland, a simple dislocation, no surgery. He was out for 3 months, he dislocated it again for Stoke a few years later for Stoke, again a ‘simple’ one. So it looks like the adage about it being more likely to reoccur is not wrong.

Talked to a friend who is a physio for a fencing team and he said more often than not a clean break is better, but best case it’s 2 months and some.

Don't want to kick a guy when he's down as I'm sure he's as aware as anyone, but when is it gonna end?

We just find new ways each week to embarass ourselves

Hope lloris injury isn’t as bad as it looks.
What do we do if he out for the season? Is Gazzaniga good enough for the rest of the season?

No sadly he isnt. He has big issues in getting down to low shots.
