Perfect time in that he still has value and we could sell him for a fee. Use that money to buy a cheap yet quality replacement just before Lloris is completely done.

Now come back to real world please, no point replacing a player if you're not going to upgrade and it the replacement is cheap then the chances are they are not going to be better.

Replacing Lloris isn't a priority, it's pointless as at this stage.

He's 34 and hasn't been up to his old standards. Onana is 24 and is pretty much just as good as he was back in the day. He'd be on lessor wages and an easy signing to complete. This would be far from pointless.

Onana is also error prone and not mature or experienced enough yet, hence still playing for Ajax in a lesser league. Lloris still has a lot to give and we should be spending our money on other areas.

Yeah, can't say Onana is error prone. What more experience do you want him to get? He's at his early peak, perfect time to bring him in. Lloris doesn't have much more to give and this is the last time to get any money for him. Stop acting like Lloris has been at his best this past couple of seasons.

Yeah pretty sure no one has suggested that Lloris has been at the top of his game mate - pls stop making up fake arguments, just saying that there are other priorities and we should spend our money elsewhere as it's nowhere near a priority position, gonna have to agree to disagree ;)

What we need is a number 2 that will push him for that starting spot. Somebody with real potential who is also good enough to be playing in the PL.

Difficult to get.

Pleased to see him giving a shit last night, need more of that passion.
Definately, i've always thought that Hugo was a bit too nice as a captain and also I'm never a fan of a GK as a captain anyway but that was good to see last night for sure. You look at any interview with Henderson, TAA, Robertson, VVD and most the liverpool team and they are very critical and demanding because thats what winners do, its not criticising for criticising sake its about having standards and sticking to them.

Its like the story Ian Wright tells about when he was 15 mins late to a lunch with Roy Keane and Keane just left and Ian Wright called him said Keaneo i'm here where are you and he said you're late, if you don't respect my time then I don't want to have lunch, we won what we did because we set specific standards to meet.
