So what’s the excuses for him for that Liverpool goal pathetic

What? I thought Winks was poor so I´m not going to defend that performance, but if you single out Winks for that goal I don´t really know what to say. I don´t mind Winks covering the space in front of Firmino for that throw in. When it bounces over Firmino that is straight into central defender territory.

And at least Winks showed some $#%%"$ at the end of the game.

He did well, imagine playing next to a passenger for 70 minutes against the energy of a Liverpool midfield.

Very good second half. 1st half he needed to get on the ball much more but the same could have been said for Eriksen.

Was Eriksen booed? Couldn´t really catch it on the tv.

Eriksen and Alli were awful in the first half. Winks was poor, but by far the better of the three.

Got into the game when the bloke next to him got subbed off. Put some players around him that want the ball and he'll be okay.

Eriksen was booed. Don't like to see that but I do hope he decides to leave.

pretty lukewarm response as he came off, so much so the announcers commented on it

Generally I agree. The coach is to blame for playing him, but that was at least borderline boo-worthy. Not for playing poorly, but for the lack of effort.

I can't disagree with that.

i'm not going to knock him today. He played better once we actually had a midfield around him in the 2nd half

Poor bastard was left alone in a 1v3 whilst Eriksen sauntered about the pitch today. being played out of position with a midfield partner who isn't a cm that doesn't want to know.

Sorry winks at fault for the goal didn’t track the runner school boy stuff ! Second half he was better yes but still very limited and only started to go forward once we got on his back for having the chance to burst forward and immediately trying to go back instead

Far fetched but not surprised. Firmino ran on but it was being covered by Alder who failed to clear. Hardly like winks gave Firmino a free run on goal.

there were 4 or 5 others who had a chance to intervene after that. Dele lost a 50-50 challenge at the edge of the box, Salah held off both Toby and Sanchez and passed to Firmino who duped Japhet. Quite the stretch to pin it on Winks.
