That's Mourinho's influence. I've noticed it generally as well, a lot more team football in the final third than under Poch where you often saw greediness in the box.I've never agreed with the idiotic "Harry Kane is a selfish player" takes from rival fans, even some pundits.
But have definitely noticed a shift in his mentality this season.
Everything he does on the pitch is for the team. Dropping deep, making dummy runs, pulling defenders out of position - and because he's such an intelligent playmaker when he does pick up the ball in midfield, he sets us on the attack practically every time.
World class.
I think he should grow a Glenn Hoddle mullet to go with his new found Glenn Hoddle passes.
If you mean Spurs I agree, and on current form England can rest him too. With DCL and Ings on form, it would be stupid not to use that.Harry is England captain and hungry for goals. Even if Southgate was amenable to resting him, Harry would want to play.
Thankfully we have a squad now where we can rest him.
Plus he is England's captain.I reckon he'll rest him tonight but Harry will start both of the Nations League games. As others have said, even if Southgate and Jose wanted to rest him for those, I doubt Harry would let them. He's the captain and wants to be the all time top goalscorer - no way is he missing competitive matches.
Suits him - all he needs now is a pair of tight silky shorts and we have our new Ghod!
Plus he is England's captain.
Especially not meaningless friendlies. In the current climate I don’t think we should be playing internationals.
Harry Kane takes pride in wearing the shirt for England. That's what I want in my captain. Should he play tonight? No. But at least he wants to work his ass off for club AND country. That's the kind of captain I want. Leads by example.
