They can't pass. It really is that simple. Son never really does other than the occasional cross. Moura is physically incapable of passing to anyone on his own side. Lamela sees that the pass is on and then takes 672 extra touches. Dele never seems to be anywhere near Kane on the pitch and gives it away anyway. Aurier is about as bad as it gets at crossing the ball. Unless GLC travels 40 / 50 yards with the ball and passes to him, there's really no one who actually has the capacity to play a through ball.
Spot on but I love the Lamela reference that gave me a good chuckle :)

Probably realises it’s time to leave but will be priced out of a move this summer

So I actually think that it is now time for Kane to give the club a bit of an ultimatum. He is a mega superstar that deserves to be at a club that matches his ambition. I believe that he should go to the club & ensure that he isn't going to spend the next 5-7 years of his career bouncing around with a mid table side.

If the club cannot guarantee this then I think it may be time for him to move on. He would have the opportunity to play for pretty much every top club in the world.

I think ppl always knew how good he was for us. That's the version who wanted to be here. Once his desire to be here left we got a worse version of him, which is why you need to sell a player who's heart is not in it.

I mean we got to a CL final and he still couldn't raise his game again. That's why he should have been gone.

This is what Spurs fans do just like they do with MoPo. They delete any memory of a person's incompetence and poor performances because the current state of affair is a shambles.

Eriksen had his good moments and good games but he never turned up in the big matches and I always said those rumours of the likes of Madrid being after him were made up media crap. He was never world class. Did he have world class moments? Yes.. but so does Dele Alli but the consistency was not there to ever have those two words used to describe him.

I know I'm preaching to the wrong person on this subject matter but I don't think we miss him at all.

This is absolutely spot on. Finishing outside of Europe won't cause him to leave but he's going to want guarantees of ambition and fighting for the title next season. We can't offer him that.

I don't think anyone could begrudge Kane a move to the top table in the Summer. 200+ appearances and 150+ goals.

Yeah I miss his corners

Our corners is pretty good now right? I don't think we have scored from one since, have we?

I'm sure you're missing this after that shit show we were witnessing yesterday, with our first shot on target in the 92 minute.

Not many performed good in the CHL final do you think? Kane maybe?
The CHL final-argument is really getting old.

He's done plenty in important games. I think he has scored most goals against Man City. Just when we're not favorites against bigger teams we play differently then when we used to smash opponents.

It was really not to start the Eriksen-argument again since he's gone. Our style of play just really went tits up when Dembele and Eriksen left and more and more people will realize it sooner than later.

Not many did no but his overall contribution had been pretty average for most of the campaign. He'd clearly lost that edge. Of course the team around him was struggling too but if we'd have replaced him with a player who wanted to be here earlier I reckon we'd have transitioned much more smoothly.

The problem is we stuck with too many players for too long and they either regressed or lost that desire - that extra percent. Not all their fault as anything in life can go stale and Eriksen is still a fabulous player but we definitely lost the best of him from 2018 onwards

He should leave for his own good. This club is going nowhere with ENIC.

19 goals in 28 games in this team, in a injury-ravaged season, such the heights Harry has reached, even this is not enough for some

It’s absolute madness. I guarantee they’ll be the same people moaning when he leaves us that we haven’t replaced his goals or that the replacement we sign won’t be good enough.

I fear we have reached that stage with Kane that we have seen so often before with our 'big names'.

His stock has risen, the plaudits increase and very quickly the player influenced by the noise starts to think they are too big for the club.

This isn't me bashing him by the way, I love the fact we have a top striker at the club, I just fear we've got to that point, like we did with Bale, where they begin to listen to those around then and he is no longer willing to do whatever it takes to drag us out of a slump and may now well be looking to the future instead. Which in the current circumstances you can't blame him for, we are fast sliding back to the shambles we were 15-20 years ago, but I always held out a glimmer of hope that Harry would be the anti-modern footballer, head not for turning etc.

I do wonder if Levy in his infinite wisdom will be looking to cash in sooner rather than later, if the economy of football allows. He can get mega money for a player who doesn't seem able to see out a full season, which to Levy would be good business wouldn't it?.

Yeah he probably will leave next year.

He's been amazing and deserves to be somewhere commensurate with his talents.

It's not going to happen here.

The sad truth is all our great players out grow us. We never seem to grow with them.

I've just accepted nothing is changing with us anytime soon.

Penny has finally dropped.

The last season at the lane we were quality and Harry probably thought we were going to the next level. Should have gone to the next level.
Instead we are a mess and it's very sad that we will lose our best player yet again for the same reasons

Kane has not been anything close to as good as some of these people making comments like "he needs to give the club an ultimatum" are making out to be. I think he has been a distinctly average Premier League striker for over a season now, one with severely limited physicality (pace looks gone, can't jump for 50/50s anymore it seems) and poor holdup play but with elite finishing ability and a penchant for being in the right position in the box.

hate to say it, but he'd be foolish to stay. he'll be pissing away his golden years on a team thats rebuilding. Ill be very surprised if he's here next season.

probably get slaughtered for this but I think Kanes golden years have been and gone. See the posts above about limited movement, pace, jumping ability. We as a club must take full responsibility for that as we’ve flogged him into the ground.

don’t get me wrong he’s still a fantastic player and one I want to keep to the end of his playing days but personally I think peak Kane has been and gone.
