200m to ease the financial loss from coronavirus and help pay the stadium off!?

Selling Harry Kane to Manchester Utd? We will see how much is lost in season ticket sales then.

Would be a fucking idiotic move.
Been thinking I will renew for next year, but if we sold him to Utd they can just go screw themselves for my cash.

I'm not sure you actually read my post. I said it is plausible Kane wants to leave to win trophies. I didn't say a single word about wanting him wanting to win trophies at a club he has affection for.

We are not a top club. We weren't before ENIC and we aren't now. If we have a genuine top player there is always the high possibility of them leaving at some point.
I know we are not a top club never said we were, as for Kane that is merely my view of him.
None of us know what will happen if he leaves or not but if he wants to not end up like shearer at a club he loves but ends his career potless he knows what to do.

To cheer myself up I watched his 100 goals yesterday. It’s really noticeable looking back how much injuries have taken out of him and Dele who was a provider many times for the goals.
Doubt he’s really worth that money now unless after this enforced rest he is reinvigorated

You would only leave your boyhood club wgo is top 6 in the country for a team you are almost guaranteed to win the league with. He may well be the difference fod united winning the league but that is a big gamble. I could only accept him wanting to join Liverpool and possibly Man City. In europe its only the big 2 in spain, Juventus snd munich

So we build this state of the art stadium to get ourselves a footing at the top table and the first thing we do is sell our best player to Man United.

Fuck that. It's not happening.

Madrid maybe, but who the fuck are United these days.

Exactly. Don't really give a shit what the papers say. It makes no real sense for him to go to Utd. He is on a high wage here.

If he leaves, it's for the top clubs winning titles and competing at the very top. That ain't Utd.

The small fact that it has been confirmed that no champions league means a small budget.

Nothing has been confirmed as to what this pandemic means for us or for anyone until we get back to how normality. Quite how people are nailing their colours to the mast definitely proposing outcomes and coming up with conclusions at the moment, it's pure and utter guess work.

Much bigger factors than no CL right now.

In normal circumstances as fans we can get a general idea of available finances based on CL qualifications, player sales, etc.

But these aren't normal circumstances and we have no precedent for it to make any level of comparisons. We don't even know when the next transfer window will be.

Nothing wrong with saying right now that we simply have no idea.

Exactly. A transfer to United would be extremely unambitious by both Kane and Spurs. The only semi-realistic destination I can see for him in the UK is Man City. They have the money, will be willing to pay the wages, are serious challengers and doesn't have previous bad blood with Levy. Liverpool won't pay this kind of transfer fee, and United would be a side step sportingly.

As per all the above, the only team I see HK leave for, playing style considered, is Real Madrid. And then only for a world record fee.

Neil Ashton is their new media guys isn’t he. There’s going to be an awful lot of bullshit chucked about now. As always Man U sell media space 90% of stories involving them will be bollocks.
If ManU bought all the players the papers have linked them with the last few weeks they’d have a 100 player squad. Look at any paper and over half of the transfer rumors are about them simply because the papers believe they sell papers - it’s clickbait
