Ha not the way this league is going

By early April, I'm guessing it'll be around the time of the Sheffield United game we'd have 7 fixtures left. Of the 4 in the PL we have to play before them, 3 are at home (Wolves H, Burnley A, Man U H, West Ham H)

During that spell:

Chelsea have Bournemouth A, Everton H, Aston Villa A, Man City H.

Man U have Everton A, Man City H, Tottenham A, Sheffield United H.

Sheffield United have: Norwich H, Newcastle A, Man U A.

Wolves have Tottenham A, Brighton H, West Ham A, Bournemouth H

Arsenal have West Ham H, Brighton A, Southampton A

Burnley have Newcastle A, Tottenham H, Man City A, Watford H

Get through that spell decent and an early April return for Kane would be excellent news as we look at the final 7 games.

If the 5-6 week timescale is true, we could be looking at just one more PL away game (Burnley) until we see the return or Kane. Not a bad looking March if that's the case at all. Not related to Kane but we play Man U the weekend after we play Leipzig in the 2nd leg. Europa League games take place that week as well and with the game being on the Sunday, it means Man U will be playing the Thursday before we play them. The draw is tomorrow so let's hope they get a tough away fixture for that date as it'll only give them 2 full days of recovery before we play them at our place (y)

Will be a nicw boost to our top 4 chances. Many seems to think we have bo chance, but the truth is we've been in top 4 form ever since Mou took over. I see no reason why that would simply stop now.

I think it's always dangerous looking at team's upcoming fixtures and predicting certain results (I know that's not what you've done here...) but people reading those fixtures will expect certain things from each one. We all know how unpredictable football is these days (unless you're Liverpool) and absolutely any results are possible from any games.

Personally, and I know this isn't a popular view, I would like to see Harry back at the start of next season and not till then. The worst case scenario s that he comes back too quickly and does his hamstring again, and then he and everyone else at the club is fucked. Of course I do fully understand his ferocious desire to return to the team, that's in his nature as a top professsional but if I were given the choice, I'd tell him to set his sights on returrning, fit, fresh and very hungry at the start of next season, and the rest of the Premiership had better watch out.

That's just my view and so far, I haven't found anyone to agree with me but there you go.

It's important to remember that Kane tends to be very sluggish when returning from injuries. The final was a prime example of this but our attacking play has suffered in the past whenever he has first returned from injury.

Although this time may be different as our attacking play is suffering regardless.

Yeah I don't think it can suffer any more honestly.

But that’s when we’ve had son. Now it’s desperate like you say. Get him back ASAP now within reason. We need him

Just think of it as Poch been in charge still and we signed a striker in January. Its about the same time he would of played him. Like a new signing innit

No. Commenced on field rehab with Sessegnon. Like Sissoko did a week ago and is still doing it. Only Foyth has returned to training
Sorry - not sure what I said wrong. I didn’t say he was training with the team or similar - simply that he outside - shock that you want to be argumentative though!

Jose is usually cautious with injury timetables so Harry will probably be back sooner

It's a deliberate strategy from him.

a) he gives the worst case scenarios to partly dampen expectations and give himself/the team a bit of cover.
b) it's an attempt to manage the atmosphere down the line - the boost when the player surprisingly returns 'ahead of schedule' and also it makes said player look good and how hard they've worked to come back.
c) but on this note I also think he is dangling a challenge to the injured player and wants to see how they react - will they do everything they can to get back ahead of schedule or stick to a relatively comfy rehab schedule? He can find out a lot about the desire of a player.

He knows what he's doing.
