Anyone else feeling like we won’t see a 30 goal premier league season from Harry..?

Or is he a slow starter , he isn’t hitting many shots or getting in goal scoring positions at all. I know he’s doing great stuff but I really want him to beat auba in the golden boot and not just through scoring penalties

This Kane will be more beneficial to us than one that scores 30 and takes 5 shots a game. He will still get a good goal return this season but the game Saturday showed he can do the Firmino role of producing for others around him. It was a shame he didn't grab a goal but as long as we are scoring and getting the points then it doesn't matter at this stage.

His cross for Lamela was fantastic.

I don't think we'll be seeing uber/peak Kane again anytime soon personally, maybe it's his ankles but I can't shake the feeling that he's conserving energy or doesn't want to push himself.

Or he's just shot his load and injuries have taken their toll.

I still reckon he will push 30 goals this season though, he's just so good.

He's a slow starter. Hes got 3 goals so far this season. Surprising he didn't get a goal on Saturday but his cross for Lamela was excellent. If it was KDB we'd be hearing about it until the cows come home.

Still think he'll hit 30 this season. The team haven't, and won't, hit their stride yet, probably until mid October. That's when Kane gets going.

His 2 best months, statistically in the league are December and January. As long as he stays fit and gets sufficient rest when he can, I'm confident he will breach the 30 goal mark again.

He scored 17 in the league last season and missed 9 games. His goals to minutes ratio was better than Salah's, and Manes was only marginally better.

Aubamayang played 5 games more than Kane and scored 5 more goals. Aguero played roughly the same minutes but managed 4 more goals, but he we playing in a far superior team who scored buckets of goals as well.

Kane is the best in the world and we're lucky to have him.

His game definitely changed. He doesn't have that much goalscoring opportunities during games as he used to. He is comming deep very often, or go to the wing. It looks to me more and more that it is tactical choice for him not to be our main attacker. When he is playing with Son or Lucas, they are playing as second strikers very often. Also, Kane had very good understanding with Alli. Would like to see them both in form again.

The thing is Aubameyang may get 30 goals and Kane 25 say, but Kane will be much more involved in our play as he can do so much more than just score goals with his passing ect, Aubameyang really doesn’t have that

I think he's definitely looking to change his game to help with the injuries, but that's not a bad thing, the best players have done it. I would be more worried if he wasn't looking to make changes.

I watched some early footage of him the other day. He was much less built and certainly quicker. He was scoring goals that there's no way he'd score now. More's the pity.

He's more rounded, definitely, but I reckon he was more effective before.

There was footage of him running with the ball from the half way line against Utd before playing in Mason - he looked awesome and really threatening. He wouldn't do that now.

He's still a good player and has a really good impact on the side, but I don't reckon he is (at present) as good as he was.

Still good though.

Is that the blind pass? How he saw that I don't know.

It's hard not to reminisce on old kane. He was incredible.

That's the one. No chance he does that now.

Players used to back off him when he had it at his feet. Feasibly they understand better how to play against him, but for sure he looks less threatening that he used to. The difference in his upper body build is massive, and I'm not sure it's made him significantly stronger or better at holding the ball up.

Difficult to say really. He's still an excellent player though, just different to what he was before

Kane is going to break Tottenham, England, and Premier League scoring records and there will still be people saying "he's just not as good as he used to be". Shut up and enjoy him you bellends.

Pretty sure he scored a goal like that against Chelsea at Wembley where he powered through their defence and scored from 25 yards

That was a lovely goal - he hits it better now than he ever did - but he didn't travel that far with it.

Don't misunderstand me, he's still great. I just thought he was (marginally) more effective when he was a bit more evasive and daring

Me thinks it has shifted his balance now, making him more palpable to falling and reduced his speed.
