Zlatan is a grown man who makes memes where he calls himself a lion. His hair is stupid and his mustache is noncey. I am very mature.

I doubt Zlatan even knows who we are. All he'll see is the best striker in the world and be baffled at why he isn't pursuing the money, fame and glory at the European giants like he did.

Why would anybody pay attention to a striker who scored 20+ league goals in a top league an entire two times in his career despite always playing at top sides. What on earth does he know about what a top striker should do? He was a complete flop at the greatest side he ever played in. Overrated money grabbing has been.
Are you suggesting Ibrahimovic wasn't a top striker?

Absolutely. He had two years in an entire, long, very well paid career where he scored a ‘top striker’ amount of goals. Kane by the end of this season will have racked up more than double that at only 25. And even those were while playing for the then current best side in a Serie A who’s quality is a pale imitation of what it used to be.

Ibrahimovic was a supremely talented footballer, strong, intelligent, and a winner, but we wasn’t a great striker and he did not ever become the player his talent and physique should have commanded.

On his Instagram today he's posted that he isn't using the crutches and walking with both trainers again.

Can anyone who knows some medical stuff tell us please if this is normal or is Harry in fact not human?

Any married man will tell you - staying home with the missus and kids all day will cure anything.

When I did my ankle (grade 2) I couldn't walk for the first two days and it was very swollen but once that eased I could walk unaided although it was uncomfortable, the problem afterwards was feeling comfortable with applied pressure on the one foot. Took me 5 weeks to have the courage to attempt playing again.

Kane's was a grade 3 (I think) so it's a good sign that he's walking but the real test will be how he reacts to applied pressure on that foot when standing on it alone. But Kane seems very strong mentally, like he knows how his body is healing and what he can and can't do. He seems the type of guy to just relentlessly push it whereas others are a little tentative. Hopefully this means he will recover quicker than your typical type.

Grade 3 is a complete tear of the ligament. If he had done that then he wouldn’t be playing again this season so I’m going to assume his was a grade 2.

Plus he’s probably getting expert treatment and rehabilitation from professionals more or less around the clock. You might not have been getting that ?

What? He was the Italian player of the year three times. Harry's goals per game ratio for the league is 0.59. ibrahimovic is on 0.62. If you only count the goals in the big leagues he still scored a goal every other game.

He scored 20 league goals in a worthwhile league twice his entire career.

Amazing footballer, but as a striker, good and no more,

But he still scored a goal every other game in those worthwhile leagues. 17 in 33 at United, 57 in 88 at Inter, 16 in 29 at Barcelona, 42 in 61 at Milan. Only 23 in 70 at Juventus though.

Lol at the under rating of Ibra in here, seriously are people still doubting him?

I think people are just bitter he has a view on Kane we all disagree with. I did think his comments were stupid. When I think of Shearer I think newcastle and premier league legend, I was about 6 when he won the league with Blackburn but my point is I don't remember his league win, it's an irrelevancy to me. I think Kane will go down as an alltime premier league great and certainly one of, if not the greatest spurs player of all time (especially for me at 28). There's more than one way to be remembered in this game.

Ibra is a better version of Berbatov. He is pure class. He doesn't work hard for the team but he kind of doesn't need to. The thing with Kane is he does work hard for the team and still scores 30+ a season. I would have Kane over Ibra all the time. He wont win as many trophies as Ibra though so probably wont go down in history as better or as good as Ibra. I think both will end up legends in their own right though. Kane like Shearer for doing it in England over many years at a smaller club. Ibra like Davids/Seedorf for doing it with several of the top clubs across different leagues. Team over individual for me though.

I guess it's like comparing Poch to Mourinho. One is building something special without a huge club and large sums of money. The other is making the most of every opportunity at top clubs and huge resources. They will both go down a success in their own right. Although one will have many more trophies in the end. I guess it depends what is more important. At the end of the day if Spurs wins a title with Poch and Kane then they'll have done something special but unique. Ibra and Mourinho winning trophies is also special but many others have also done it.

Come on, you're more rational than this. He has 11 league titles, and a host of other trophies. You don't score the number of goals he has, and play for the teams he has, and win the things he has, if you aren't a top striker.

He's obviously quite a character, but he has been a brilliant footballer. If he'd played for us we would have learned a thing or two about a winning mentality in the big games.
