With his style of play, and considering it's his first full season at this level, I'm worried we're going to burn him out. Really need Ade or Soldado to take some of the weight of his shoulders. Luckily Eriksen and Chadli have also been chipping in with goals but it's ridiculous when you actually think about it, we have 2 experienced strikers earning shit loads of cash being kept out the team by a youngster that basically works harder than both of them put together. I know people love Soldado and want him to do well but he doesn't even put in half the effort as Kane from what I've seen.

Kane got average to below-average reports from Orient fans last season. Poor touch and vision, looks slow, decision making a bit off. He got a decent return for them though, and seems to always score for the youth. Hopefully he's been improving fast. I wouldn't get too excited about him yet. There's a reason he hasn't got much of a look despite his goalscoring record. Also, he is a deep-lying forward so not exactly the saviour we are after.

As for Tom Carroll, he got great reviews and they'd take him back on loan. Apparently very very comfortable on the ball. Maybe a dark horse in terms of a breakthrough youngster.

I love punditry like this!!

I know ive said this before but I really hope kane has the no.10 shirt next season - love my forwards wearing that and he would do it proud!

Drop adebayor to no.50 if he's still here lol.

Mason no.8 and Bentaleb no.4 as well please *squad number geek*

@KAISERwells completely unnecessary rating this dislike.

And you need to butt in why? Yeah it's a forum rating but it made me feel better posting that so mind your own please.
I need to butt in because you're spamming the Harry Kane thread with completely off-topic posts about ratings you've received from other people that you don't like [bet you don't make a special post each time you get an Agree or Like, by the way] and not exactly covering yourself in glory in the process. I would have rated your posts Spam (which they clearly are) but I thought that might inspire you to post even more spam as a result, which is exactly what I don't want to happen.

Anyway, I'm sure the thread will get back on topic with posts about Harry Kane in its own good time. As you were, carry on whinging about something completely meaningless. (y)

I'm sorry but apart from a headed goal from 6 yards out and a good work rate, what did you see against WBA that merits a "done very well"? He missed an open goal from 3 yards out and dragged another strike wide. Am I missing something? Perhaps the little slide ball into Naughton for the first which any footballer should be able to pull off as the two WBA defenders were wider apart than Jordan's legs.

He works very hard and good on him. He obviously is a Spurs man and he's a product of our youth system. But one minute we're a club that needs a 60,000 stadium and 4th isn't good enough and the next we're happy with a player that works hard and appears to be the offspring of Crouch and Ribery? I don't like him as a player and I think he will end up at a lower PL club at best. We'll see what will happen though ;) Let's all hope I'm wrong and he turns out to be the solution to our striking woes

Well Dimi, its about that time...
