If Sonny keeps scoring at the same rate this season he will have 137 premiership goals by the end and will be catching him up (thanks to Kane's assists)

Oh god you've brought out the maths geek in me.

I've just worked out his average league games a season, not including this season or the season under Tim, so poch's first season to last season and he's averaged 32.66 games a season.

Round that up to 33 games and he'll hit that goal target in 4.9 seasons, meaning by the end of the season when he's 32 that summer, he'll have either matched or just surpassed Shearer's record.

He'll probably tail off towards the end too - Shearer didn't get to 260 until he was 35 and his rate of return was a lot patchier in his later years (although still largely impressive).

I think it will be a close run thing and if Kane pulls it off I don't think it will be until he's at least 33/34.

Yeah I imagine that's likely the way it'll be.

We need to hope he doesn't suffer from any more long lay offs as I think the two he suffered probably shaved off 15+ goals from his total.

I think he'll need a couple of big totals (25-30) in the next couple of seasons. If he's 30 years of age and has another 50 to go I think he'll get it.

Yeah if by the time he turns 30 and he's on 210 goals that means he'll need another 62 in this season and the next two, which he's definitely capable of doing as that is just below his seasonal average over his six full seasons with us so far.

I'm convinced he'll score 20+ this and the next three seasons, then it will be a question of his fitness.
I wouldn't rule out his intelligence as a footballer giving him a Sheringham-esque final chapter of his career though and play for more than a decade still. Kane is getting into his late 20s, but in comparison Sheringham at same age was only into his second season with us and had 14 seasons left in him.

I saw this on twitter but they shouldnt be sacked lets be honest. The person putting it on twitter should be though.

The majority of us have mocked people, im sure, off the record/off camera etc etc etc so lets get that out there- we all have in one way or another... Its wrong totally and not condoning it but perhaps im being objective

I used to fancy her as well though, then again i fancy everyone.

They’re all as bad as each other really.

It’s banter between friends, fair enough, they obviously didn’t think it would go anywhere but for someone to then put this out on YouTube, wow. Whoever did it probably hates those guys, like when the Sky producers put out Keys and Gray talking about smashing some woman.

It’s not funny to take the piss out of someone just because of the way they talk, but if they genuinely thought it was between themselves, then I understand why they did it even if I don’t agree with it. Risky though, considering one wrong move and they could be sacked. Which might happen now... makes them look like proper ****s.

In other news, Martin Keown believes Kane should’ve been done for dangerous play when he backed into Lallana for our penalty.... I’m sure he’s called Arsenal strikers ‘clever’ when they’ve done similar. Prick.

Was this leaked or broadcast by accident? There should be an apology and some repercussions for this

Let's be honest here that Keown doesn't know his arsehole from his earhole at the best of times. In the quiet words of Bricktop "He's a useless shite that boy!"

Love this new playmaker Kane, had one great pass for Bale but he wasn't ready for it, once they adapt to each other it won't be just Son scoring plethora of goals.

Martin Keown has yet to discover fire so his opinion is irrelevant.

They should be sacked or at least reprimanded, the woman also calls him a "mofo" totally unprofessional and down right childish to be laughing at someone elses speech impediment.
