If Levy was offered an “eye watering amount” for Kane (a term Levy has used in the past re transfers) and it was clearly a good business decision then he would undoubtedly accept the offer

The ball would then be in Harry's court if he wanted to leave

A part of me wants to believe that he wants to break Jimmy Greaves goalscoring record before he leaves us, but then I am an old romantic!!

Hopefully he never needs/has to leave us to achieve his ambitions but....

He stays fit all season on this form and we win something he’ll be in with a serious ballon d’or shout and rightly so.

jose said he’d make him a superstar...

That's what I'm saying. I know he's living the dream as is, but he will have his ambitions. Just sad that fulfilling them may mean leaving us, and as I said, while I won't care, I know it will all end very sour and fans will end up hating him. I can foresee it and it won't change anything

I believe that if we start winning trophies and match his ambition he will stay, and based on the recent signings its more likely that he will not be run into the ground for the season ahead.

Kane has used the expression 'match his ambitions' (or something like that) on a number of occasions i believe. What that translates to in any given season is obviously very fluid. My guess is that if, this season, we 1. have a strong top 4 performance in the league and he thinks we are going to improve next season and 2. win a trophy or at least get to the latter stages of Europa/FA/League Cup, he will have no thought of leaving end of this season. Anything short of that and he (justifiably) will at least think about his future. A lot of pressure on Mourinho to guide us to accomplishing enough to keep Harry happy.

Sorry, but as he’s not playing in the CL he won’t get anywhere near the Ballon D’or. That is just how it is, and it is why players of his level leave clubs who cannot get to the final stages of the CL year in year out.

If Kane runs his contract down and leaves at 31, having been with us 15 years, 10 as first choice striker, undoubtedly having scored over 200 league goals and probably 300 overall, making him our top all time scorer, then I actually think there’s no real fan who would begrudge him going anywhere apart from Arsenal, and a good few that would even accept him going there though I’d suggest they’re not ever going to be a big enough pull for him as he’d be leaving to on one of the great clubs.

I doubt that most fans would accept him joining Arsenal or Chelsea.

I didn’t say most would accept him joining Arsenal, I’m saying a good few would only in the circumstances I outlined (and am about to repeat).

Maybe I have too much faith in my fellow man, but even Chelsea (which once again I don’t think he would) I don’t think would be enough to taint his legacy if it was done in July 2024 at the age of 31 having become our all time top scorer across 15 years at the club and ten first team seasons. He’d have learnt immunity too join anyone but Arsenal.

I think you've got far too much faith. There's people on here who have already turned against him and said he should be sold. Imagine what people like them would be like if he joined either of those two sides.

Oh Arsenal would be unforgivable and Kane almost everyone disgusted, I know that. Chelsea I’m not so sure. If he kicked up a fuss now to force it, obviously, but in the circumstances I’ve described he’d have arguably proven himself to be our greatest ever player.

That said, I doubt Chelsea would be a big enough oil for him to leave us either. I’d be one of the north west clubs, Spanish big two, Bayern, Juve or PSG.

Kane wants to be considered the best player in the world. To win the Ballon D'or he needs to win the PL and compete in finals of the CL. We need to be challenging for the PL and the CL every year for him to stay. Top 4 is essential this year, and not by scraping into 4th on goal difference, but by competing for the title and showing we can win things next year if not this. Ultimately we need to show we can compete for 1st place. I think we're headed in the right direction and he clearly has his best form and fitness back. I think we also showed the type of ambition he expects to see in the transfer market this summer after a concerning few years. Qualifying for the CL at the end of this season and ensuring we continue to upgrade our weakest positions whilst keeping our best players and I think we can achieve everything Kane wants.

If he is going to leave it will be next summer or the year after, and to win CL titles and play for a massive club. That said, The likes of Juve, Real Madrid and Barca are in a right old state, so it is more likely he goes to someone like Man C or Liverpool if he wants to win things.

You reckon they’re stumbling up the £200m Levy will demand for the works best striker with three years left on his deal at the age of 28? Even if he’s agitated, that’s what he’ll cost.

No - when did I say that? I was merely saying that he will only leave to increase his chances of winning the PL, CL and Ballon D'or. He will not move sideways or for money.

I’ll be honest, coffee deprived eyes misread your post as saying he’d leave next summer, which I personally think is almost an impossibility.
