It's true utd are not as good as they were previously but before the season ended there were signs they were getting their shit together.
In fairness I think they would have beaten us at home simply because of their slight turn of form along with us not being able to win an argument.
I agree. They have slowly improved since the remnants of the previous manager have been cleared...

People can disagree as much as they want. We have had a reputable ITK on here confirm that Kane has his agent looking at different options for him. Yes the situation may have changed due to unforeseen events, but I'm sure that hasn't changed his mind on wanting a new challenge at a club where he can win trophies.

Who is this 'reputable ITK'?

If he wants to go, let him go. He deserves to win and win now. He'll be 28 by the time football restarts. This club will not win with someone at the helm who is proven to not do what it takes.

I take all ITK with a massive grain of salt, but he’s been very good on all the big stuff this season. He’s clearly got some good info at the club.

Like what ? Guy is a fraud...

Can't even get tickets to watch FA cups games nevermind getting inside information from the club.

I think Real make the most sense if anyone at all. Bayern would be a good fit from a footballing perspective, but I can't see him itching to go there. Can't see him that keen on Italy either. From his own perspective, i'd think he'd either be open to Manchester or Spain, though I do get the impression he would not want to damage his legacy with us at all by going to a direct rival, though staying in the Prem would appeal from a potential record Prem scorer perspective, but I think ultimately other things would outweigh that. Barca doesn't quite seem the right fit, though you never know, so really it's probably Real or stay with us, unless United come in and offer crazy sums both to us and to him.

I think many seem to say that we won't be able to get much done because of the current climate. But once the window does actually open, we may well find things quite favourable from a financial perspective relatively speaking. A lot will be hit harder than us, and if we were to get a figure not too far removed from what we would have done last year for Kane, then we could come out of it well in the long run. Not that I'm advocating to sell him, just if it were to happen ...

Can’t see united challenging anytime soon. Not sure Madrid would want to throw the sort of money we’d want at him. Not with mbappe and Harland around younger and probably cheaper in harlands case.

I don't see Madrid going for him when Haaland is available especially when they have Odegaard coming through and also Mbappe knocking about who has flirted with Madrid since he was at Monaco.

I think Kane might find he's too expensive for most clubs to take him but not sough after enough where the very best feel it's worthwhile to prize him. It goes to show that your moment is fleeting and you may miss the chance to move if you don't move when you're the name of everybodies lips. Not to say he's peaked and on the downward slope but that they're are some highly sought after names available without the injury record, cost who have more mileage left in the tank.

Which is fantastic for us if you want him to stay.

Given Kane’s recent comments (which aren’t new, just now mean something different giving our faltering progress) and growing news from ITK and media, you would suspect they’re trying to position Kane to have an option to exit next summer if no progress is made. Especially given it takes considerable and time and effort to get out of Spurs (Modric, Eriksen etc.)

At this time Levy has no reason to sell (our commercials are still in a very good state having refinanced the stadium loan with Bank of America), neither can realistically any top team afford Levy’s asking price in this economic climate, whilst Kane is highly unlikely to force his way out his boyhood club.

News like this fed to SkySports about Kane not going to another English club has also likely been spun to regain fans sentiment and support distracting from the recent damaging off field issues.

With the current climate no one knows the true financial impact on any club in Europe and it's all sheer speculation until some form of football starts and losses can be assessed.

I have my doubts whether the new season will even begin in August/September. Even the best run clubs financially have taken an almost existential financial hit due to COVID19.

So......nobody is going to be spending the kind of money that a transfer like this would have commanded in 2019. It really is the bottom of the market for selling top stars, and Levy does not sell at the bottom of the market.

Add to that that Mourinho has just got here, its not his team yet, and his two best players had long term injuries and I can confidently say Kane will be at Spurs for the start of next season, whenever the hell that is.

calm down everyone, and move this thread out of the Transfer Forum, it has no business being here.

Happy Passover and Easter or whatever you celebrate everyone. COYS!!

Ultimately we all know how this ends dont we? It may not be this summer, we have coronavirus to thank for that, but if not this summer it'll only be next. We wont match Harry's ambition and thats the end of it. The financial super clubs will find the money required to get it done, they always do.
