Involved in 5 of the 6 goals last night, serious world class performance from him, even the little touch for Sterling to setup Barkley for the 2nd was just perfect. You can tell the work that he did this summer is paying off for him just wish we got our shit sorted out quickly because it won't be long before he leaves.

I get the feeling we as a fan base very much underappreciate him as his name is rarely sung (unless he scores) and even on player of the year voting polls he hasn't once won it which is crazy considering he scored 41 goals in one of those seasons.

He absolute stinks of world class & i think only after he retires will he be appreciated by the footballing community.

One of our own.

It does beg the question - why don't we just play like that? We've got Sonny for the left, Moura on the right. Play Kane as a roaming 10. Then you play Ndomble, Lo Celso and Winks as the pivot.

It feels like we have the ideal players for that system. I recognise Bulgaria were absolutely terrible (on and off the pitch...) but I do think that would play best to Harry's strengths and our squad
When you look at Liverpool tearing it up with a front 3 of Mane, Firmino and Sarah, I have always wondered why we don't try and replicate that with Son, Kane and Moura

Because Poch has seemingly set himself a tent on the diamond formation hill and fully intends to die there.

Think we'd still need a holding midfielder. That Winks and Ndombele are competing for the same place in the team.

Agree. I think we'd need a holding midfielder who could run around all day to cover e.g. a Kante type. A 4-3-3 with Winks, Ndombele and Lo Celso would get torn apart IMO.

Weirdly think he’d be more appreciated generally if he was a 10. There are things he does in that position that I honestly don’t see anyone else in current world football do. His awareness is outrageous and his sheer strength to dig out a 50 yrd pass that looks impossible. But now he’s really judged purely on goals. So even if his scoring marginally slips the criticism starts. But his consistency over 6 years is remarkable and probably only Aguero can sit with him.

Kane is regularly talked about as a world class player and a legend. I think he gets ample recognition.

But his stock is high so individual awards might come less often now.

While glad to see his overall development as a player, I still yearn to see the Kane who scored by the bucketful.

Not sure why you’re all bigging him up on tonight’s performance, he was voted 4th worst England player by the fans on the bbc website. And we all know there’s no bias or ridiculously thick ****s on the bbc websites so yeah, basically he was worse than 7 other players and 2 of the 3 he was better than were subs.

He will break lots and lots of individual records In club and international football, yet he will never be truly recognised by other teams’ fans (and some of ours!) as a great because he speaks a bit funny and he plays for Spurs. There are far too many football fans who are thick biased ****s.

And in other news, grass is green.

Proper football fans rate him highly. Only twitter idiots, the type who don’t genuinely love the game etc, slate him.
Their opinion matters not one bit

I went back and watched some of Kane's goalscoring comps on Youtube the other day. If any opposition fan can watch those and genuinely still believe he's not a top class striker then they're either deluded or don't understand football. Some of the stuff Harry has done on the pitch in the past 5 years is absolutely unreal.
I do this all the time, he was absolutely lethal with even half a chance, he just knew he would score, and scored every type of goal you could imagine amazing.
I know harry is adapting to a new play style and his ability as a 10 is brilliant, with the right movement around him, hes a fantastic footballer as we know.
He could be brilliant as a 10 in future, but as a 9 he would be the best in the world and that is the player I think would be more effective for spurs.
Apologies for shitty grammar.

A goal a game will still be his benchmark once the team gets going again. Sadly the team has hit a rough spell but once it finds its feet it will soon help Kane get firing again.

I love Kane so much.

Still get the usual crap from Liverpool and Arsenal "mates" I have that he is noting without penalties:ROFLMAO: Makes me proud to have a world class player who literally scares the opposition so much.

I hope Liverpool smash United.....and then we destroy them with 3 Kane penalties, all of which are given by VAR for nothing, much like Liverpools decisions this year.

Please drop this notion of Kane playing deep. He is a striker that has many editions to his art.
