So Ange is rating Luca more than other 2 by name checking him first.
That’s a stretch.

He said “we have four keepers” then remembered about Gunter, realising he anctually has FIVE keepers on the books, and went on to say he’s not ready due to injuries.

I took that to be Ange correcting himself and not wanting Gunter to think he wasn’t part of the goal keeping group.

Anybody calling Forster rubbish needs to give there heads a wobble and understand how hard it is!
I don't think he's rubbish. He definitely won't be shoved around on corners and he's put in some good saves this season when he's played but if we get to any penalty shoot-outs before Vic gets back, I will officially be hiding behind my sofa. That League Cup shoot-out last season is permanently etched on my brain as one of the worst shoot-out performances I've ever seen from a professional keeper.

Because I'm bored and fancied scaring myself to death by seeing when all the matches that could go to penalties we might be involved in are (assuming Vic is back by April)...

League Cup
18th December - Quarter Finals
~3rd February - Semi Finals
16th March - Final

Europa League
20th February - Knockout play-offs (if we don't finish top 8 in the league phase)
13th March - RO16

FA Cup (no replays this season)
11th January - Third Round
8th February - Fourth Round
1st March - Fifth Round
29th March - Quarter Finals

Rewatch the Germany v England semi final penalty shootout, with Stilton in goal.

that’s the worst one ever.

but yeah, that one was a tough one to watch too

My son is a goalkeeper and the sh!t they take! Its amazing anybody wants to play this position! The chance for glory is minimal and the responsibility they shoulder is massive. I have so much respect for any professional GK
Agree. They’re always a little crazy and I think that they have to be to want to get up every morning so you can have someone kick footballs at you all day in all weather 😅

@mil1lion recall a while ago I was talking about the keepers pushing off the forward to create space?

This demonstrates it perfectly from martinez tonight, pushes off to create his space in front of him, not a push as such but push off

Lol. I said that Ortega is very good backup.
I also said that Kelleher is good, but that’s mainly to Alisson missing nearly 30 games since last season, he also said multiple times already he wants to leave Liverpool and be 1st choice somewhere else.
Chelsea doesn’t even have good 1st choice, as both Sanchez and Jorgensen aren’t good. Bayindir didn’t play well for Fenerbahce, massive drop off from Onana.
Maybe Neto, but lets wait until he plays even one game for Arsenal
Jorgensen should be no.1, and if Bayindir didn't play well then why did Man utd buy him?

If they are deemed good enough to get a squad number in the 25 then they should get a chance in the 1st team if the opportunity arises in my opinion.
I wouldn't read too much into that:

League rules are any player on our books over 21 must be registered if there is space. With our lack of HG players we had no choice but to register them.

It's the reason Reguillion is registered.

Yeah that's a nice subtle way to create the space
