Consistently our best player at moment. Feels like he singlehandedly trying to force us to play football against the wishes of Mourinho

Oh a thread where everyone is nice and friendly, might hang out here for a while.

Seriously though the one bright spark to a horrible season, get some good players around him.

He has developed into our best player, but the danger is if the squad & team don't improve he'll feel he's wasting his time with us, so get some more players of his ilk in various positions & we might develop into a decent side.

Mind you, we'll have to get about the pitch a lot better than we do now because teams like Norwich, Wolves, Leipzig & Dortmund do this so much better than we do & I don't understand why.

I thought he was excellent last night. The way he runs with the ball and finds space is seriously impressive. Enjoy him as I fear he won't be around for long.

My normal seat is up on level 5 behind the goal. Yesterday I had a halfway line level one seat and so could appreciate the finer details. In particular I was delighted to see the level of close control this boy has; at times his feet were like magnets with the ball held so closely in control as he weaved through the opposition. Here is a player well able to hold the ball up helping us to retain possession

Agree, just needs a DM alongside him.

Very impressive player - impressed that he's been able to settle this quickly in a different league in a mish mas side - mentality is on point.

I was expecting Lamela esque however pleasantly surprised he has taken such a pivotal role and glad we made it a perm deal.
