Some guy called Schrodinger with a cat....

Doesn’t mean he’s match fit. Just that he’s not injured.

He’s appeared for us at the weekend and I suspect he will appear for us this weekend. The fact he doesn’t speak English, has moved from a different league/country, hasn’t trained much with us because of injury has probably stopped him starting matches for us so far.

When is this international game?
Just looked it up. The first game isn’t for 2 weeks. He would be fit for then.

Gutted for Lamela to keep missing the international spot ffs. Or this also means he's gonna injured for some time......

International squads released 1.5 weeks out? What is the point of that? Clubs have 2 games left, wait a bit

Also, roll on international so we wont have watch this shower of shit for 2 weeks

Another reason why we need Poch replaced, IMO. I'd much rather have a nasty bastard like Mourinho blatantly lying about his best players suffering niggling little injuries prior to an international break than I would have Pochettino trying to be more honest than our competitors and us suffering as a result. If we want to be winners, we need to play dirty, and I'm fine with that.

I remember TAA being withheld from England last season then straight back in the Liverpool lineup starting against us. I’m done with being the nice/naive guys.

And what if said player was actually injury free and wanted to represent his country ??.

Well with the news that Lamela is again out we have a big decision to make. If I was Poch I'd pull the trigger on Lo Celso personally. In any event playing Eriksen again and not getting a result would be damn near career suicide.

And how long will that take before international players avoid signing for us because we block them playing for their country.

I dunno like never?, it hasn't affected other teams who have done this in the past so why would it affect us?

We're talking about pulling him out of a friendly for a precaution not blocking him from getting played in the World Cup.

It comes from the same school of argument that if we overpay for one player we'll never be able to get a good deal in the transfer market ever again.

Oh I get what you're saying. For the record it pisses me off. But if they're adamant they wish to play there's little we can do other than accept, or create a problem by way of denial.
