Looking forward to seeing him, Ndombele & Sissoko as the DM in our midfield at some point this year. You have all the abilities with Sissokos strength & stamina, Ndombeles ability on the ball & box to box capabilities & Lo Celso with his clever play & eye for a goal.

Pretty pointless stat don’t you think? The match was much more open by the time Lo Celso entered the fray.

Eriksen spent most of his time tracking their full backs when we were trying to hold onto a 1-0 lead and there was far less space to play in.

This clamber to denounce every decision Poch makes and criticise each performance from the ‘contract rebel’s’ is pretty childish.

I know everyone’s pissed off with our performances this season but the reasons for this are clearly more nuanced than many of you are making out.

He had no pre-season, got injured after a few weeks, and has had maybe max two weeks training since returning from injury. It's not ridiculous to think that he might not be fully up to speed yet.

Get the fuck out of here with your logic and reasoning!

It's pointless in that sense yes but on the other side of the coin when Eriksen did have the ball what did he do with it? That's the question we should be asking...The answer is not much, 61% pass accuracy and lost possession 11 times, spin it anyway you want but that is appalling.

The other question you should be asking is why Eriksen played for one and why Poch put him up against Robertson

I don’t disagree that Eriksen was ineffective but that was more to do with the job he was asked to perform rather than any lack of ability or effort. It’s pointless comparing with Lo Celso though as the match was totally different by the time he arrived.

You’re certainly not wrong but I did think Lo Celso showed some great urgency and moved the ball forward quickly and with purpose a couple of times, which Eriksen didn’t seem able to do.

I was encouraged with his cameo, hopefully a sign of things to come. Can’t wait to see him start and get his Spurs career off & running.

Either way I think it's fair to criticize Poch for starting Eriksen or at least putting him up against Robertson.

That still does not explain Eriksen's misplaced passes - he was absolutely dreadful.

Looking forward to seeing him get a run of games in the side and see what difference he can make.

I don’t care who he swaps shirts with either.

How could be he fully fit to play for Argentina, but not fully fit for us? This situation reminds me Schrödinger's cat. Lo Celso is fit and unfit simultaneously.

If he plays a full 90 mins for them and then still only gets short camios for us I’m going to be extremely annoyed.
