Here you go. That pass was majestic.

It's a tough debut. We can laugh all we want about his involvement, but him getting a few minutes in a game like that, is vital for his introduction to the team. I really hope that he'll get at least 30 mins against Newcastle

Needs to play this weekend before we play the Gooners, and in case Eriksen leaves.

Yep. This one weekend of playing will help him speak English and be totally aware of how his teammates play. Football Manager has a lot to answer for.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

It would be quite sensible to give him a good amount of minutes. He's clearly fitter than a number of previously named subs and has also been playing more recently and at a higher level than many too.

He really doesn't need to be handled with kids gloves imo.

If Poch starts with Winks and Sissoko in the same diamond setup after two very poor midfield performances from the team i’ll be peeved.

Can you count them? Yes? Number of minutes.

I think he will start this weekend and Eriksen on the bench, Poch needs him to have minutes if Eriksen does leave in the next week and Newcastle have been shit (so far) and it is at home.

But it is Newcastle and they are a bit of a bogey team for us recently but I still expect him to start

I think you're right in terms of long term preparations for Arsenal would dictate that we want the players who will start that game to get the minutes. It'll give us an indication on what's going to happen by end of the window I imagine.

Pochettino just said he's still "so far off where we want him to be" but is training well.

Don't think he'll be in line for a start any time soon. 20 mins against Newcastle would be nice, though.

Any specific reason?
Think he has a good chance against Newcastle considering Ndombele's injury.

I didn’t know NDombele was injured, that could change things but even then I still don’t think he’ll start.

No pre season, innit. Plus we’ve got Son back and Alli soon, plus Lamela and Moura doing well.

I expect him, for the next few games at least, to be coming on off then bench between 60-80min mark.

If he was so far off I doubt Poch would have given him minutes away at City last weekend.

Definitely more to the comments than meet the eye.
