My very favorite thing about this signing is that his positional versatility boosts our squad depth in so many areas. In the 4-4-2 diamond he can play as either a No. 8 or No. 10 and could also be one of the front two. In a 4-3-3 he could play CM or as one of the attacking three. He even had a stint as a DM at PSG, not that we'd want to play him there but it's another option if things get desperate.

Squad depth was our Achilles heel last season. With one signing we'd have shored up two areas of the pitch.

I can’t believe I checked that website, looked what a Hawker 850 jet looked like and how much one costs, it was over £3 million. (Although obviously you’d never buy one, you’d just rent it).
