Lo Celso fits with either of the other 3 because he can play deeper but also cover further forward. So I'm hoping for Lo Celso and one of Dybala (1st choice), Coutinho (2nd) or Fernandes (3rd).

Real Betis are under pressure to accelerate Giovani Lo Celso's move to #thfc, otherwise they will be unable to sign more players this summer. | @ElTransistorOC

I’d be so happy if we signed him for well below the fee they’ve been asking. The signs are there that they’re starting to panic.

Not to tempt fate, but it sounds like the game of poker Levy has been playing with them and Herc alluded to all summer, may have worked.

Genuinely have no idea how the next few days will pan out. Seems Poch was super keen on GLC so if Betis come back cap in hand I think we'd do it.

GLC and Coutinho would be pretty fantastic, if we could somehow get over the financial hurdles for Dybala then even better.

If GLC and Coutinho happen - I think a setup like

---Son -- Kane
-----Coutinho----
GLC ---- Ndombele
----- Winks -----
Rose -- JV - Toby --- KWP
------ Hugo ----------

would be very lethal.

They need to sell and they're not going to get that fantasy figure from any other club. Let's see, I still think this is more likely than Coutinho/Dybala...

I am starting to think that selling Eriksen to United, allows us to move for Lo Celso. Then, the remaining funds we have from our kitty goes towards Dybala deal. Coutinho on loan as an opportunistic the icing on the cake.

It sounds utterly ridiculous to be typing this, but maybe the financials all work and it can be done. I still feel Dybala is the long shot in all of this.

Please please please. Give me GLC and any one of the other 3.

I really think this guy is going to be a beast for the next 5 years. Big, fast, skilled, work rate, positional flexibility, etc. he’s got it all.

If we are signing two of the four attacking players that we are linked with, then I hope it’s GLC & Dybala as Coutinho would only be a loan.

Moreover GLC & Dybala are more used to playing together in their NT.

I think we need one which primarily a goal scorer and the other to be primarily a goal creator.
So either Fernandez/Dybala and either Lo Celso/Coutinho would be ideal

I think we were looking at two anyway, regardless of whether Erikssen signed or not. At this point, Erikssen needs to go. Attitude is terrible. The four are very different players. We need legitimate competition for places. Erikssen played when healthy regardless. He also took corners and free kicks whether he had any success or not. How many games could we have scraped points rather than lost had we scored on the odd corner or free kick? He went three years of PL games without scoring from a direct free kick. 3 years!!!!

Clearly Lo Celso wants us and we want him. Real Betis Valuation is crazy. 88M is the price you throw out there when you don't want to sell the player. When a team is in that position, they do not normally sign a replacement, as Real Betis did. Real Betis also needs the sale money to buy the players they need, so no clue where they are left if we just walk away.

Juve is good with us taking Dybala and he apparently wants to come. His numbers at Juve have been excellent, though this last year he was squeezed out by Ronaldo. Only one ball, as they say and when Ronaldo is there, he gets his fair share of the ball, and then some.

Fernandes, like Lo Celso, has already agreed terms (so is willing to come). Not sure Sporting would mind selling, they just need to show the fans that they got all that they could for him. My worry is his foot speed. Not sure how he would do in the Pochettino press

Coutinho is the interesting one. Like Ceballos, there is no way we contemplate it without a reasonable option to buy and intent from the player to stay if all goes to plan.

Now, if all four become doable, and Erikssen to ManU goes through, Fernandes does not come. The other three are just so much quicker of mind and feet IMO. The upside on Lo Celso is through the roof.

Even as the window started, I'd have been ecstatic with Lo Celso, Sessegnon and Ndombele, so would be hard to see all three over the line as a great window.

Best case scenario is Eriksen gives MU the finger and goes to Barca as part of the Coutinho deal.
