Can not believe how silent it is

Same as last summer. Have a look through the itk from the last few days of last summer and it’s all about outs and Grealish who’s transfer we ballsed up. That’s it. Very similar to now but it’s even more quiet now.

whatever else DL will make sure he brings in a midfielder because they have no choice esp with the ongoing CE saga, whether its GLC or daniels [prefered cheaper option is another question; in previous windows, daniel would have opted for a cheaper option targeting a net spend as I priority, obviously now with Poch getting a cheaper option is not an option... but the club aim of a net spend will be realised even if GLC goes thro as CE will get sold.
As for bringing in other players like BF this won't happen if a net spend will be acceded, it does not matter one iota about winning something, what matters to them is getting into the top 4 , that's it. what matters is the target of a net spend

To me the GLC is just a clusterfuck of a government department that screwed Londoners for many years, Sir Horace Cutler and Co.

My prediction for what’s it’s worth : there will be more panicking and then we will sign Lo Celso before the end of the window. Most SC posters will talk about their erections, forgetting that some of them hadn’t even heard of him before he was linked to us.

We’ll then have talk about challenging for the league and then we’ll sell Eriksen, actually making us weaker.

But those posters erections will still be going strong like a viagra fiend and so they’ll try and convince themselves and everyone else it will be ok.

Oh, and Aurier still won’t have learned how to take a throw in.

I can see it now. Thursday at 3pm we announce Sessegnon. Then all of us are frantically hoping for another signing even at 4:58pm and even after a rather depressing post by Herc and JJ saying “that’s it, no more”.

Still that won’t stop us from having that one tiny shred of hope that a late bit of paper has made its way to the FA Headquarters..........realisation sets in a few hours later and the posts get angrier and more drunken until Saturday rolls round and we watch Grealish thinking what could have been....!!
