You start to wonder what happened to us needing to sign home grown players! All the English players we were linked with last window

Catching up with the thread and suprised to see the negative copa reactions, thought people were saying he was having a good copa?

Haven’t seen any myself as I’ve just been busy but is he having a decent/good copa, neither here or there, or was it that he didn’t really show up for the Brazil match?

I would be staggered if we shelled out approx £120m without knowing we’d at least make a large chunk of that back through outgoings?
Sadly I think this will be the case. However losing Dembele and Eriksen, and getting Ndombele, Lo Celso and possibly Ceballos as replacements must be the best possible outcome.

Might even need one more just in case our injury troubles strike again.

If foreign players are leaving then it’s not a problem

We've released Vorm and by the look of things Llorente. The issue was more not being able to bring in anymore nonHG due to maximum numbers more than needing a HG

Peculiar that none of our ITKs have said anything on this recently if it’s as close as they’re claiming

His first 10 mins of the tournament were great, He was subbed on vs Brazil but the match seemed to be at a pace where it was hard for him to get amongst it, I think he suffered from argentina decided that absolutely every attack needs to go through Messi.

I thought someone (possibly ITK) mentioned something about GLC's contract that if Betis has an offer above a certain amount and refuses it then GLC's wages get bumped up significantly. Maybe Levy is basically telling Betis I'm going to bid and if you don't take it at that amount it's gonna put you in a spot with GLC's wages so how bout we make this happen.

Someone said it earlier, but the detail from L'Équipe about Levy negotiating with Betis while NDombele was in the process of signing was so oddly specific that it seems like it might have been true. Then a local Betis journalist drops the story that we've upped the bid and the deal is close this morning.

Just reading the tea leaves and connecting the dots here, but I kind of feel like this is a goer.

"GLC is not dead. Betis should not play Poker with our Daniel, as there would only be one winner! COYS!!!"

Herc said the above yesterday. Considering we've been concentrating on Ndombele and Clarke up until yesterday, Lo Celso might have pushed on significantly since.

So they come from a Seville journalist who appears to only write about Betis and his twitter profile says he's been doing it since 1981. Seems like the type of local news report that is generally very accurate. Obviously we don't know much about this guy's reporting history but he's Betis journalist so it'd be a weird story to write if was bullshit.
So he's Betis's version of Ally Gold.

I completely want who Poch wants, I couldn’t care less if I don’t rate him as long as MP does.
Not every transfer decision he's personally made has worked out tbf, but ofc, have to get what he wants.

Did Levy pull a masterclass this fine afternoon? Got the information out there that we're out of the deal because they wanted a ridiculous 88M - they shit themselves realizing the big payday could be off and now willing to accept the ~ 70M.

The rumours were they were willing to accept 70 but that was too much though, both in the media and ITK

I do too. Something is definitely up.
