Lol, no not at all.
I'm not saying this applies to anyone here but in general some people seem to think that players shouldn't be allowed to express an opinion on their managers, no matter how much the players might care about the club or how dire the situation being created. I'm not a fan of the modern concept of "player power" used in a derogratory way because it's basically the zero sum converse of totalitarian manager power, which clearly isn't always right -- unless you believe that "following orders" is always a valid excuse.

Anyway, do you happen to know who any of the major proponents of Poch Out were in the squad? I had a feeling that Kane had become a bit disillusioned but it was nothing more than an instinctive inkling.

All those players can fuck off then
90% of them would've been nothing without Pochettino
Would it change your mind if the other major bit of ITK going around - that Poch had been trying to get himself fired for quite a while - turned out to be true? Would the players not be well within their rights to try to accelerate the process in that scenario?

Yeah of course. They owe him their entire careers. Shame on them for not wanting to stay until they retire, despite never winning anything the whole time.

People don't seem to understand, these players fell for Poch and his philosophy hook line and sinker. Fact is the philosophy somewhat changed it didn't work but Poch persisted week after week. This went on for months FFS!

No matter what your profession if you are being asked to do something you don't agree with, you'll look to work else where.

I know people don't want to believe it but had he listened to his workforce a lot sooner he would never have been in this position.

I love the man for what he's given us, but he's stubborn as hell.

Best for all parties he moves on.

Saw it. I won't criticize him, but I personally don't trust that ITK

Besides you don't get to the CL final by trying to get sacked.

There's a quote from an article that says that Poch wanted to clear out the dead wood that was poisoning the squad and Levy didn't back him for a couple of pounds. 2 of those were Rose and Dier. I'd bet they have a lot to do with Trix's statement in this thread

Loving the use of the "creative" rating by those who don't like what they hear.

Funnily enough I'm sure I got some of those when I posted he wouldn't last till Christmas way back in September.

Turns out that was a bit of a Van Gogh now though eh.;)

Happy to let them go, whoever they are. They will betray us the next chance they have, regardless of the manager we have.
I'd bet most of them won't ever reach a CL final again

You’ve been calling it for ages and you’ve been proven right and anyone who visits this forum knows there’s one ITK to trust and that’s you.

never ever have you misled any of us and you can see your info is actually passed on in good faith!

sadly I agree with you poch has openly lost a few of the big boys and maybe it’s not too late for Jose to come in and sign up Toby andJan!

I bet they don't. Try a lot higher profile. I have never named the one player in particular for good reason, but Christ if people haven't worked it out yet from what I've posted then I'm dumbfounded.

Yep, it's fairly obvious - perhaps people don't want to accept it but there is only one player with that influence at Spurs (and it's not Serge Aurier)

tbh right now I don't really care if Kane leaves

He'll regret this decision a month after Jose is appointed.

he better fucking win the golden boot again this season with Maureen in charge....he ain't walking back into a CL team half fit under Jose #fact

Poch was far from perfect - but it is absurd that this scenario is blamed on him when every credible voice outside of the club think the fault lies with Levy.

You’ve been saying for months if he’d of listened to his players he’d of been better off. I agree and I bet this started this season with the vertonghen situation if it wasn’t going on before.

He didn’t listen to them for whatever reason and being a good manager at whatever level you are or whatever job you do is imperative. Ignore your workforce at your peril. It will always cause you problems if you manage people.

Appreciate your info throughout all this @Trix.

I've been following it and got my mourning out of the way weeks ago after the Brighton game. Anyone following your posts could tell the end was nigh.

Tonight is still sad but I'm now quite excited to see what a top class tactician can do with this squad, especially if we can patch a couple of holes in January (FBs, DM if he can't bring old Dier back). There is real quality there.

I just hope Poch leaving doesn't affect Foyth and Lo Celso too much, I rate both.
