He said that they were both a long way off playing football the other day, this guy is on crack I swear lol

Well if Lamela is on the blow then this could make sense lol

If one wants to read anything Into spurs Insta it will be Sess. There was a series of 4 pics with a caption saying "getting ready for tomorrow", or something of the sort. And it was pictures of Son, Kane, Sess and someone else, can't remember who.

Then again Celso just posted this so who the fuck knows.

Yeh - beginning to think that "smart" loan rather than a straight up purchase is going to bite us in the ass.
How can it bite us in the ass?

A: If he's good we take him?
B: If he's bad we have the choice not to. (unless C= Yay)
C: If we get in the Champion's league (yay) we are obliged to take him whether he's good or bad.

Now I understand why we are playing so badly. Fail to qualify for the CL and Lo Celso returns to his club, thereby saving us zillions. Cunning stunt.

not really, we hold all the cards, we have an option to buy and it's obligatory if we qualify for Europe, don't see why Levy wouldn't trigger the option. He's a very good player and I'm sure we'll see that in the weeks to come

Southampton had an option to buy Toby and he moved to us. Hopefully we've learned from their mistake and have an agreement with both the player and the club.

that's a good point, I think if we qualify for Europe then he hasn't got a choice but of course he could always say no if we don't qualify for Europe

From memory Southampton had a date in the contract to sign him. They missed the date and this gave us a chance to make a move.

If we have the same option I doubt Levy would miss it.

I thought it was because Toby just refused to sign the contract with them because he preferred us? Hopefully GLC has already signed an agreement to join us at the end of the loan.

No idea, just remember reading that.

Essentially if at the end of the loan GLC doesn't want to stay there is little point in taking up the option to buy.

judging from precedents, this guys is not even going to be an impact sub.

Poch will tell you "Lo celso?? its so difficult for a player to integrate to the team's style of play without pre season, we need to stay calm in how we..."

I predict, on average, he will have 5 minutes of injury time to run around the pitch getting used to the style of the team.

In this attritional sport, employing a philosophy that makes the intregration and reintregation of players difficult is a folly that cannot be afforded, therefore flawed.

Yeah it is a bit over the top, just chuck him in ffs!

Sometimes these managers really do fanny about and overthink things too much and it's not like we're ticking over without him.
