If we qualify for CL or EL
The way I read it when we first signed him was that if we qualify for Europe we have to buy him no matter what, if We didn’t qualify we then have to option to buy him or don’t buy him

Skipp

Ndombele----Lo Celso

Yeah I think we either need the additional CB to cover the fact we don't have a plausible DM or give Skipp the opportunity, I thought he looked decent pre-season and the Poch of old would take the risk.

Wasn’t it his first week back in training since his injury?
No manager would throw a player back in under those circumstances

You under estimate the desire to find another stick to beat him with, apparently some are not content with all the reasons we actually have to be critical of Poch as it is.

As long as you play them with a DM you’d be fine.
He played five at the back against lowly Watford yesterday with two in front ... You think he is going to play them at the same time with a DM? You'll be lucky.

I didn't say throw him straight in, but surely a place on the bench would have been beneficial with a view to giving him 5 or 10 minutes towards the end of the match if the circumstances allowed.

I like how Winks and Sissoko have stood up to be counted, but their partnership is just gonna get us nowhere.. It’s not defensive, it’s not offensive, so what is it? Winks needs to play with a DM, not as the DM.. it seems so obvious to me that my head is blown by Poch and Southgate playing him as the DM... Or am I missing something? I’d be playing Skipp as DM until at least January, where I’d be looking at Zakaria to come in. Jan looked like he was so slow yesterday, slow of thought too, and possibly the most off the pace I’ve seen him. Toby is a shadow of his former self too. Rose just seems to not be bothered.
I’d be seriously impressed if Poch had the balls to go for this setup through to January:

gazza
KWP Sanchez Tanganga Sessegnon
Skipp
Ndombele Winks/LoCelso
Dele Kane Son

I completely agree with this but I'm not sure Skipp is ready. I wouldn't be averse to giving him a chance, but if he doesn't take it then I think we need to try the likes of Dier, Foyth, or Davies there until January comes and we can finally get a DM in. You're spot on about Winks never being a DM and the Winks/Sissoko partnership being neither offensive nor defensive, but I don't know whether we've got any players in the squad who are currently capable of fixing the problem.

Lo Celso starting would be a way to solving some of our issues. Sessegnon would give us pace and passing accuracy from the left, which we’ve badly missed - although I’m not sure of him defensively.. And yeah, other than Skipp, maybe Foyth would be a good choice at DM, especially as in my team I don’t have him in the back line?

skipp will never be ready if he never plays, at this point i don't really see what we have to lose by giving him a run there but i still can't see it happening.

Whether or not he’s having second thoughts now about coming here I fully hope he’s 100% in our plans in terms of a permanent deal. The lad is absolute class and I honestly cannot wait until we integrate him in.

I already really like Ndombele but I believe Lo Celso will immediately bring us up a level. He has a fire and grit to him where as Tanguy can somewhat seem a bit of a luxury player. Not exactly the type you want when our backs are up against the wall.
