Don’t care if we sell him to Villa, they’re more likely to offer more money. Real Betis most likely to low ball us.

If only he cared as much about club as he does about country.

Hell, even half as much about club would be a start.

Sell and chalk this one down to an awful bit of business. Him & Ndombele in the same summer will go down as a stain on the clubs transfer history.
Well, I’m not sure about all of that. He was definitely available at the back end of last season when our midfield couldn’t create diddly squat. Ange just wouldn’t play him. And the odd minutes he got he looked brilliant.

A player that was bought specifically for Poch at the time after we had missed out on Bruno Fernandes at the 11th hour. Interestingly N'Dombele bought for the same manager from his direct request

Poch was a lot of great things, but he was no talent scout and had blindspots when it came to judging players’ character. Dani Osvaldo mk. 2 and 3 with Gio and N’Dombele.

He must be shite in training and/or stink out the place with his attitude.

Alright JJ, good to see you on here. 👋

Just another reason to swerve getting Poch back in, though I know some still pine for him.

i think the hiring of Ange has helped us move on in terms of creating more time/buffer.

For Lo Celso i don't want him going to Villa. I just feel like him under Emery will be a very good player as he has been in the past for him

Don't understand why people are worried about him going to Villa, he will just do exactly what he has done for us and spend a lot of the time injured and have a couple of good performances per season which makes some fans believe he will become a key player but he never does.

Id be delighted to witness Villa fans frustration with him rather than have to continue to suffer it ourselves.

Especially if we get Ramsey in return.

He doesn’t improve is so why people think he improves Villa is beyond me

I think selling to villa would be a mistake. He improves them considerably and fits their counter attack style really well
Who cares? It's about us not about them, and selling to the highest bidder so we can reinvest as much as possible should be all that matters for a player that is not going to feature at all.

Got to look at who our rivals will be. I don't rate Villa. I think they got found out post xmas and stumbled over the line to 4th based on excellent start to the season....But realistically they are one of our closest rivals in the league this coming season. So we shouldn't look to do them any favours at all, even if they offer a premium to others

Because they can probably give us the most money for Lo Celso which in turn will help us with future transfers? Selling them Lo Celso is doing us a favour more than it's doing them a favour in my opinion.

Nah, just look at City, or even Chelsea when the were dominant. They never have a problem with selling what they believe are lesser players to rivals, because it's all about them and what they do.

You Maximise outs to allow you to maximise in's. If you are in a position where you are worried a player you actively want out will strengthen your rivals so much that they will finish above you, then perhaps you shouldn't be selling him at all.
