But Doue and Eze are attacking players, not 8s. I just don't get Ramsey. Gray looks great but he's covering centre back and Bentancur will return soon. We're well covered in that position. I'm not convinced Ramsey brings anything extra.
If we bring in another "#10" than can dribble through the middle, then I agree we don't need o bring anyone else in, but I see Ramsey as a possibly candidate for that role, albeit down the list. I don't see us as playing with 1 x #10 though, I think it is more 2 x #8s but 1 is more attacking than the other.

Ramsey is better suited to the deeper role though where Sarr plays. He isn't suited to where Maddison plays. He needs to make runs from a bit deeper and play more box to box. I think Bentancur, Sarr and Bergvall can all play that role so think we're well set there.

Have we heard any more on GLC moving on? was tempted to put him in my fantasy team in the hope he would be a cheap starter for Villa under Emery but it’s all gone quiet on that front

Must be something going on . He’s completely out of the picture. If he wants to keep playing for Argentina he needs to go. Prob to Spain.

Didn't the big transfer aggregator man on X say that there were clubs looking at him ? He is a good player and should command a lot of interest one would have thought.

He’s definitely being moved on. He has one year left on his contract. Problem is, as with Reguillon, I think interested teams are waiting to the end of the window to strong arm us into accepting derisory bids.

a good player who should command a lot of interest but one that no one seems to want to pay any money for.

Talented player and clearly offers something special to teams that play to his strengths. Seems to lack the legs for a Postecoglu team.

When Bergvall and Gray were interviewed together, both stated their preferred/strongest position was at ‘8’ or box to box.

Early indications are that Bergvall is more immediately going to play that sort of role, or as hybrid 8/10, while Ange will likely take advantage of Gray’s versatility and utilise him in multiple roles as need dictates - although I wouldn’t put it past him to really excel in a particular role and stake a claim for making it his own.

In any case, I think having these two will more than cover Lo Celso’s space in the squad if he is sold.

I’m hoping he could be used as bait alongside Reguillon to get Raphinha from Barca. But that is sheer hope, not expectation.

Good player just doesn’t have the fitness or legs for Ange's style of football.

Will do very well for someone else.
Yeah if he can stay fit for more than 4-5 games at a time .

The premier league isn’t for him in my opinion going back to Spain is the obvious answer if he wants to play lots of matches

Gio Lo Celso has offers from Aston Villa and Real Betis. They are both working to unlock a deal. Spurs want to sell, he is not in Postecoglou’s plans for this season.
