I love it. 8bit throwback rendering

I like it because I really like the shade of the bottom yellow which runs through the shorts and socks, is like an orangey-yellow. Only reason I don't buy yellow shirts is because I don't often wear bright colours but I do like the yellow kits!

Just watched the Bale behind the scenes signing vid and is it just me or does he look significantly leaner than he did a few years ago?

There was a point at Madrid where he was an absolute beast and put on a ton of muscle and now he looks far more slimmed down.

It's a good thing, I reckon. Should make him quicker and *pretends to understand sports science* less susceptible to muscle injuries... maybe?

It had been mentioned somewhere that RM wanted him muscled up and Wales asked them to let him go lean bc of the injuries and RM wouldn’t comply.

Wales and Madrid had an argument about that coincidentally. Wales felt that muscle mass was the root cause of the injuries. He went through a couple year period with us where he didn't have many injuries, only ligament damage from rough tackles.

Similar to Ronaldo? He wasn't this muscular when he played for United. Though I thought Ronaldo was simply properly fit at RM.

Yeah they do something there that really packs on the muscle, I'm not sure what it is but I'd be interested to find out more.

I think it's swings and roundabouts. A certain amount of muscle will protect ligaments I guess it's finding the right amount.

Bale actually ‘muscled up’ with us under AVB - he became a proper beast and took that with him to Madrid. I would not be surprised to see him beef up a little now as I suspect he’ll be ‘at it’ in training more than he has been in two years. But not to the levels he was at circa 2015/16.

Cant wait until he’s back on the pitch and makes Zidane look like a clown. How the hell he convinced everyone Bale isnt world class anymore is beyond me. But hey. I’ll gladly take a world class player with a point to prove.

Bale is officially a week fitter than he was when he arrived.... and that's something to be excited for 1 week down maybe 3 hopefully less to go....if only there were advent calendars for this type of thing.

The squad is brimming with internationals, but I don't recall ever having 4 "World class" players before. I include Lloris and Son with Kane and Bale. Reguilon potential... Plus one of, if not THE, preeminent managers of the last 15 years. What a time to be a Spur.
