If We do not sign Bale when the condition are so much in our favour, Baldy needs to fucking go no excuses.
Charging a premium for what is the most expensive season tickets for Sub-par product on field. In the corporate world this would be either gross negligence or commercial fraud by misrepresentation

It is almost a shame stadiums are closed at the moment as I reckon Levy would get the message when there are a lot of empty seats in the stadium due to a sub-standard product, and those that do attend turn their ire against him.

I can’t wait for the day we are back in the stadium, to let Levy & ENIC know their time is up.

Knowing Levy he will be clinging to his tried and tested...... Player wants us, club need to get rid so I'll hold out till the death to squeeze a few sheckles out of the deal.

Won't work with this one from what I hear because both Bale camp and Madrid have already moved as far as they are willing to.

Things do change so pinch of salt and all that, but considering Levy's love of a bargain deal, he won't get a player of Bales profile for this price any time soon.
Cheers Trix, lets hope Levy grows some balls and pulls the trigger because the whole club needs this to happen, unfortunately I have zero faith in him concluding the deal, pressures on him to deliver though, more than ever I would say.

Levy won't pull this off. Never in a million years. Will just be another failed transfer in an ever growing long list.

Totally agree that this summer is actually the most feasible it's ever been but it simply won't happen with who we have in charge.

The fee is one thing, but what about the wages? We have no idea what Bale wants. 250k/wk, 300k/wk, 350k/wk ???

PS - not having a crack, I want this to go through.
Couldn't we just give him a signing on fee which reduces his wages to a reasonable amount, not to piss of our top earners?

Anyone else get the feeling the deal we are trying to arrange will end of helping Utd sign him? we do all leg work and Utd swoop in with the cash?

Aguero on the wane. He wants the PL record. Theres only one place Kane is going next summer and he'll achieve everything he deserves to there.

I reckon hes off either way unless we have an absolute barnstormer of a season and win EL, FA cup or league cup and challenge the top 2.

Convinced myself this isn’t happening now, hopefully I’m surprised but I doubt it unfortunately...

There's a massive difference between losing him for a couple of months and not having him at all. And you know it :D

Yes, and there's a big difference between what that entails and the concept of "mid table" and "relegation".

Yeah, we'd be worse off - but not apocalyptically. Not 'West Ham sans Payet' stuff, thanks to lads like Son still being around.

If we follow the Liverpool model (post Suarez and Coutinho) then we'd hopefully be able to rebuild and deal with it. We'd need better recruitment before then, though.

Said everyone, every season for the past 3 or 4 when Kane's been injured for an extended period.

Never really happens.

he's still in and around the squad though, and clearly has a lot of say in the dressing room, losing him through injury and losing him to another club ( potentially a rival) is a whole different kettle of fish.

Yeah it is obvious isn't it. We've all been on this rollercoaster before.
