“It’s great to be back,” Bale told Soccer on Sunday. “I have unfinished business on a lot of english golf courses. I’m looking forward to loading up the clubs, getting back out there and showing what I can do with a golf ball.”
“It’s well documented that I hate football,” said the Welsh captain. “People can say that makes me a mercenary or whatever, but I just let my putter do the talking.”

“To the Madrid fans,” added Bale. “Adios you shower of ****s — I hate every single one of you, man, woman and child. There, I’ve said it.”

I wonder what Bales future plans are..? Does he have two kids now? Guess he has to consider what's best for them regarding their school etc. I wonder if he plans to play golf in Madrid for 2,5 more years now? I can't help thinking he kind of has thrown away his career. Even though he officially has won several trophies with Real. But, a return to Spurs seems very unlikely.

But, I probably gonna fool myself next window too.. All we have is hope! ? ?

Didn't make the bench today against Atletico despite being fit after his recent injury. Wasted....

They had a pop at him on Fighting Talk, on 5Live this morning.
Basically saying how frustrating he is, to be wasting away his talent.

The agent's attitude in all of this is very odd, almost discouraging clubs from coming in for him with his comments.

I thought him and levy were mates? I had hoped they would work together to get madrid to pay up the wages but the desire just doesn't seem to be there.

Gareth must have a thick skin to be happy staying there, again strange as he was a shy lad previously.

Maybe his body really can't hack the premier league anymore who knows. Seems happy with the money and what he's already achieved with the outlet of playing for Wales.

€30 million a year, €30 million a year Madrid are playing him to be an occasional bench player, and they won’t subsidize his wages enough to make a move realistic? Baffling.

Shall we leave the thread open in case Real Madrid decide to release him?
