A team with 7 world class players would win everything.

For me world class means being in the top 5 players in your position in the world.

Lloris is arguably there. Kane also. Bale hasn’t been for 2 years (as he’s not played). Son knocking on the door, but there’s other WFs who are better.
Son is imho one of the most talented, clinical and dedicated players we've had in my lifetime. He's got to be in the top 5 for his position.

New Interview. It is still a bit unreal that he's back

He's still that lovely, Spurs loving, intelligent, down to earth, humble, superhuman Welsh boy with the drive to play the best football he's capable of. I'm absolutely buzzing about what he can do for us this season, so long as he stays fit and healthy.

I'm have 0 doubt that he'll be back to his best with us. If you're unhappy you're not going to play well. Its really that simple.

He's now happy and surrounded by his extended family. He'll be firing soon.

And 31 is no age. Just look at Ribery. 37.

I remember getting negged for suggesting he wanted a move to get game time and find that love of football again. The guy is still human. Working in any negative environment regardless of money is going to do harm to your mental state which then goes onto physical state. He is now at a place where he feels loved and wants to get this club to trophies. He'll rehab his ass off to get back fit.

It still hasn’t quite sunk in.

Also, Jeff Shrieves really winds me up for some reason. His interview technique is cringeworthy. Gareth did the best he could there.
I think exactly the same. His tone is patronising and condescending. Fkin prick. Like he's someone important. A fkin nobody.

Yep which I imagine is the reason why Crouchie (a former teammate and friend) got the first non-Spurs interview. You can see a big difference.

I imagine that was more to do with us being on BT that weekend than the club choosing to snub sky or Geoff Shreeves.

Have we had any reports of him training with the first team yet?
Shreeves said he came off the training ground with a spring in his step. He's fitter than I think people would have us believe. But then we haven't had shots of him with the group, whereas we have had that with Reguilon.

I realised that after I posted, but it still helps. Much rather Crouch or Jenas than Savage for example.

Not sure about Jenas these days, he’s always massively negative about Mourinho and the club.
I mean in terms of having someone he played with at the club. A familiar face to continue that positive vibe. More like friends catching up than an awkward interview is I how thought of it.
