Time to take off myself. I expect this thread to have about 450 pages by the time I land at my destination in under an hour.

And this ladies and gents is why Bale is coming back. Imagine if he went to Newcastle as mentioned earlier in the summer, Ashley would have had him bagged up and sent via YODEL!

*Hermes. and then left in the back of a vauxhall astra for a week until someone finds him.

I totally see your point and understand we'll have options (if Bale stays fit) but every time Kane's out it seems to really affect the team including morale. I agree about having an option to develop a bit like Jesus was definitely seen as an option when purchased by Man City. Not sure what a reasonable fee is given the splurges on Ndombele and Bale. My thinking is that Kane will still be off next season so we need to give a young, potentially world class striker a year to bed-in and that means spending now and avoiding a stop-gap.
If Kane is off next season, which I disagree with given his contract situation, we have a fee big enough to buy two quality strikers never mind just a replacement, one old one young.

Anyway, not for this thread but happy to continue with you in the Kane thread if you want. I’m just happy Bale is coming home.

And I’m in Melbourne ?.... just about to watch the last 3 Episodes of All or Nothing to pass the time.

Not sure I’ll even be sleeping once it is announced ?

Dear all. The jet has now taken off for a flight time of somewhere between 90 and 150 minutes according to the experts on here.

So I suggest you all sit back, relax, make yourself comfortable and enjoy the ride which should be smooth all teh way. I suggest you all keep yourself firmly fastened in to your seat in case of the need to F5. @Archibald&Crooks will be coming around the cabin with refreshments and a light meal, and we suggest you take advantage of our entertainment system which includes the Daily ITK Thread, Coronavirus Discussion, and some laughing at United.
