Noticed how teams aren’t even trying those shithouse tactics with Forster in goal. Shows how much our opponents were targeting Vic due to his obvious weaknesses at corners.
I think a lot of that is down to how much of a unit Forster is - he is a much bigger guy than Vicario is and is as a result much harder to block.

Yep, he’s certainly an immovable object in comparison to Vic and it does change the dynamics at set pieces.

I think the defenders are confident with him in goal and that's a massive plus, both are quality yet they have different strengths. We're blessed with two fine goalkeepers.

Once again laughing my head off at all the Very Smart Folk who informed us all matter-of-factly that the bloke is incompetent, because reasons.
I got a 48 hour ban on COYS for saying he wasn't atrocious after his first game. I said do you know what atrocious means?...that got me the ban.

If this were a tournament year, on current form he should be England's #1.

Would any of you put Pickford, Henderson or Trafford in the sticks for Spurs ahead of Forster right now?
He's no worse on this form. I don't know what that says about our 'keepers, but if Forster was named as starting England's next match I wouldn't have many concerns.

It actually tells you everything you need to know in reality.

We don't have world bester keepers.

But there are potentially shit loads coming through, if they get and take their chances

He has really surprised me in a positive way. He certainly wont be bullied in the air.

I'm not going to throw shit at him tonight.

He was good up until the horror show. A great save from Zirkzee's header.

He's being asked to do a job and he's doing it well for the most part. Tonight was the first time he's had a rocky patch since he's come in.

Well done The Tree.

If Foster can keep fit & keep his agility, he can really trouble Vicario at this rate.
Its been years & years, we have had since a proper competition for GK positions

After all this....thanks for nothing Fraser.... 🤷‍♂️ (n)

He was responsible for them having that header as well by hammering the ball into Sarr with three men around him.

For all the good slow motion saves he is painfully slow of body and mind.
If he can't play out from the back which is a massive part of our play then should be be in the team?

Do the positives outweigh the negatives?

I still think, aside from tonight, he's calmer than Vicario, and our defenders realise that too. They don't seem as on edge.

For me he's been a fine deputy for the time being.

Hope this doesnt affect him in the long-term, he seemed like a broken man out there by the end, that kick away from the long-distance shot straight at him was weird af

It was the right thing to do, the shot was at pace, and he wasn't getting down to it that quick, it could have squirmed under him.

it luckily didnt cause any harm, but rare to see keepers react like that from long distance shots
