Another good performance last night. I said that he deserved a chance to prove us wrong and he has so far.

I'm sure I'll get blasted for this, but I think he's been just as good as Vicario this season. Certainly better on corners!

Deserves that clean sheet, didn’t have much to do today but been fantastic since called upon.
Clean sheet against anyone is a massive confidence boost, gust as much as scoring five.
Well happy for them

Once again laughing my head off at all the Very Smart Folk who informed us all matter-of-factly that the bloke is incompetent, because reasons.

If Foster can keep fit & keep his agility, he can really trouble Vicario at this rate.
Its been years & years, we have had since a proper competition for GK positions

Isn’t going to make some of the saves that Vic does but he is much more solid. Will be interesting to see what happens when Vicario is fit again.

Indeed.

We should be looking to move one of Whiteman or Austin on in the summer, and bringing through either Gunter or Keeley.

We should then be moving the other one on the following summer, when Forster likely retires or moves on, and bringing through another young keeper.

It’s a position that’s been neglected in our planning, but we’re lucky to have Big Frase.

If this were a tournament year he's exactly the type of player England should take as their 3rd keeper. Great temperament, professional, probably organises a well run table-tennis competition.

Love Vicario, but currently just enjoying Forster's 'no-drama' vibe.

If this were a tournament year, on current form he should be England's #1.

Would any of you put Pickford, Henderson or Trafford in the sticks for Spurs ahead of Forster right now?

Probably not tbh.

He has always been a decent keeper though.. unlikely to get a call up though, but weirder things have happened, goalkeeper is the most difficult position for anyone to push for a no.1 spot though, so unlikely any change to Pickford in the national team though.

Its just dealt with differently and the amount of games you have played comes into it along with form/team you play for, its a weird one and very unlike outfield positions in that sense.

Noticed how teams aren’t even trying those shithouse tactics with Forster in goal. Shows how much our opponents were targeting Vic due to his obvious weaknesses at corners.
