Such calmness with his feet. I'm more confident with his left foot than I am with Hugos

If he is happy to be number 2 again next season sign him up for a couple more years

If nothing else because he stands up and he's so fucking big he stops some of these close range/one-on-one's through sheer presence if nothing else. No exaggeration to say that since he's had some games there's at least half a dozen goals snuffed out that you know would have been straight past Lloris into the net.

Thought that he was a total clogger based on reports from S'oton fans for the past few seasons, but seems a man reborn. It's an awful shame, but I can't think of a single area in which Hugo is better this season to be honest. He's got to stay in.

Pretty sure he has always been decent, remember his game against Barca for Celtic, unreal performance.

not spectacular, or trendy, but calm and solid, not rash!!

Played well tonight and kept us in it when we were struggling.

Just seems a solid, sensible sort of player.

Will he be happy to be number 2 next season. Would be great of he stays but we need a better permanent keeper

Really like how he can shift it on to his weaker foot and lift it over to a wingback in space with minimal amount of touches. Just doesn’t happen with Hugo.

Reminds me of Brad friedel. Not the most agile, but positions himself well, and seems to be comfortable on the ball.

Would be happy for Forster to be #1 moving into the 2023/24 season.

Providing we sign a younger keeper with a view to them transitioning into the #1 the following season.

Much like we did with Lloris.

Yes, has to stay in the team, deserves his chance
Joke is he had his chance and proved himself, don’t want to bash Hugo but it all went tits up when he came straight back.
Even tonight just looking at his distribution it was bang on, the defence pushed up further and didn’t have a problem passing back when needed.
Criminal decision to drop him when they did.

Much like we did with Lloris.

That's not exactly how it went down with Lloris.

Signed August 31, 2012. Started once in October and then was the starter by November. (and my recollection was he was not happy sitting behind Friedel even for 2 months...)
