He’d be the first to say he should do better for the goal, either clean out or stay on the line, apart from that, a very good performance, very good.

Had no idea he was as good with his feet as he is. Left foot or right foot he seems so calm and picks out a man. Impressed so far.
Yeah there was one ball Romero blasted over to him and he looked so calm controlling it

After only hitting the deck like a slowly toppling redwood a couple of weeks back, he's really got down low very well ever since, to shots and rushing to someone's feet. Exudes experience and calm which is all you want. Great shot stopping today also. Would absolutely keep him around next season if this keeps up. Bar not getting to the ball for the goal, you'd have to say it's as good a performance as we've seen from a keeper in a while.

His first few games after Lloris was out was always gonna be rusty. But after that he's been quite solid and more confident now. Well done. What I must say is he seems more immuned to distraction. Lloris always looked kinda shaken whenever he conceded.

Impressive yesterday and able to pass/throw to a Spurs player which is a big bonus.

Ye, I agree. And if he stood on the line and they scored he would have been blamed for it. So it’s better to try and go for it. Things like that happens to every goalkeeper from time to time.
If a keeper comes for it, he has to get something on it - simple as that.

If he stays on his line, he at least has a chance of saving it, but he would have trusted himself to get the ball, I don’t see it as a mistake as such though.

I’m not digging Forster out, that’s just the basics of goalkeeping, enable your ability to make a save, increase the odds.

unfortunately missing the ball meant it was impossible to make the save.

hindsight is a wonderful thing especially for goalkeepers as it’s such small margins.

overall, he has been solid (more than) in goal though, good distribution, making big saves, a big unit so to speak with some agility.

As I said previously, he’ll be kicking himself about that goal, as he’d have expected to get it being the size he is.

He is a quality keeper though, always has been

Forster is a bloody good premier league standard goalkeeper and no argument. With Lloris's injury he could turn out to be our most successful purchase of last summer's window.

Mad to think that he has probably been our best Summer signing. He’s also been our best backup keeper in years. Seems a great character and the three CBs look confident in him too.

Stays in the team for me. Made a couple of vital saves today and right now just feels more assured compared to Lloris.
