A no brainer of a swap, ones a captain of a CL semi-finalist with 16 goals/11 assists this season from central midfield, the other could maybe be a world-beater but can't be arsed to do any hard work.

Still though, the link comes from this guy : who I believe also said Hojbjerg to Everton was done. I also think Leipzig will want big money for Sabitzer considering that they’ve already sold Werner and Upamecano is going to get them 60m+. In addition they’re loaded and have just beat us soundly in the CL so it’s not a great negotiating position for us.

Either we need both lamela and sissoko to go to fund or one of lamela and winks/ndombele/dele alli (1st 11, player) needs to go to fund it. If he has a release clause like most leipzig players, that would be fine.... Suddenly, austria producing quality players

Same Journo is one of Southampton’s mouth peices. He is usually fed into and no surprise with the news he released about PEH. Southampton are hardly gonna tell their journos they have agreed a low fee with us when they’re trying to start a bidding war.
Journalists these days seem to“specialise” in certain clubs nowadays. The same could be said about Ali Gold who is constantly claiming we don’t want to sell TND. He may go at the end of the window and if he does will Gold be lauded as useless? No. Most will appreciate that Spurs used him to claim one thing when in fact we were negotiating with other clubs for the sale of TND. It’s common practice these days.

Can’t imagine there’s an truth to the link but he’s a player that would improve us. From what I’ve seen he plays CM mainly and uses the ball decisively while also covering a lot of ground. Seems to have made a lot of goals this season in both CL and Bundesliga from a CM starting point too. I’ve not seen him enough to make more of a judgement but my gut tells me he and Lo Celso either side of Højbjerg would give us a very dynamic, proactive, well rounded midfield.
