I don’t think he will ever score 25 goals a season but he’s a presence we miss have missed up front .

As we can’t rely on Ritchie to play more than 20 games a season I think his energy and strength will also bring the best out of Son and Johnson . Already you can see his link up with Kulu is there for all to see .

the space he creates with the system we play will definitely create more space on the counter for us to get behind teams

He does have a very good all round game. I think if he stays injury free he will push 20 or so goals this season

Yet another fantastic performance from big Dom. He is the perfect foil for our team and the type of striker Ange needs to enable us to really press from the front.

Never will be a Kane when it comes to goal scoring but he is a very clever footballer and incredible with his press and positioning.

Had a good game again today. Occupies defenders, provides a focal point and looks sharp in the box.

Fully admit i was not overwhelmed signing Solanke. But boy does he bring a different dimension and energy to our play.

Have been really impressed with what he has done so far and don’t think he has even really got going yet.

Just goes to show how important a proper CF that can hold the ball up really is. Am seeing shades of Sheringham in his play.

A few more goals would be nice, but if his style of play means that Son and Johnson score more often then we should get plenty as a team.

If you know football, you know the difference he is making.
Too many strikers are judged on how many they score - but there is far more than that to being an effective striker.
Great signing and I’m sure he will get somewhere around the 20 mark in all comps by the end of the season as well

He's been outstanding in terms of application. Not only does he hold the ball up or close down but he does both intelligently. The turnovers in possession yesterday came from him covering off the right angles so that the GK had no choice but to play it long.

Solanke was instrumental in our win yesterday.

A far more polished forward than Richy in his all around game, stringer, better in the air and a tireless presser of the ball when leading the line.

Worth every penny we spent on him and will only get better as the season goes on.

I was a doubter but after watching a couple of full games at the Lane, I am much more appreciative. Put in a super shift yesterday, strength and determination was immense, just lacked a goal for his reward.

It’s almost as if Ange and recruitment team knew the profile of the player they wanted, identified him, and signed him….

I think Lange, in two separate interviews said as much about many of the players we have signed since he and Anged have started working togeher.

Of course he did. My comment was more tongue in cheek for the people on here that were saying the signing was a mistake because he had only had one decent goal scoring season in the prem. Totally ignoring the fact that Ange and the recruitment team will have a whole other bunch of criteria that led them to identify him, other than how many goals he scored last season.

He's really making us tick. A really likeable character and a really good footballer.

He's adding so much to our play. That video of him so far this season doesn't even show the half of it. Instrumental to how we play.

The goals will come, I'm sure, as the players continue to understand each other better and recognise his movements too. But I think he's almost there with those around him already, the only moment I was disappointed in was when he wrestled the ball, got forward and could have released Sonny but cut back inside, but still managed to create an opportunity for Johnson out of it anyway.

His pressing is off the charts, he reminds me of Dele on that respect. I'd love to see his running stats, they've got to be up there close to Kulu's.

Thought he had a really good game. He doesn’t look confident in front of goal just yet but he is technically much better than I thought he was. That ability just to be able to drive forward with the ball at your feet is really valuable for a striker.

He’s also a great outlet for keeping hold of the ball when opponents box us in a bit and force us to play a more direct pass. Both him and Richarlison are slightly better than even Kane was at just winning those physical tussles with defenders to get us up the pitch. No coincidence Son and Johnson are excelling with a proper number 9 for them to feed off.

I also love that he gets on with it. I'm not a fan of the antics that Richarlison plays. It might be OK for a team down the bottom who need to break up play and stop the momentum but not teams who need the momentum themselves. You never see Solanke rolling around or even when he misses a chance he doesn't dwell on it.
