Said in the match thread how impressive his hold-up play is, but his touch, dribbling, and strength are equally integral to how he plays.

Would have loved him to grab a goal or two but couldn’t care less if the team’s winning and he’s playing well.

Deserved a goal . His hold up play is a lot better than I expected of him . He’s incredibly strong and reasonably quick . The goals will come I’m sure

He's all round play has been much better than I expected. I am slightly worried about the lack of chances we're creating for him though.

If don't think we need to worry about creating chances for Dom, he is heavily involved in our play around the box and bringing a lot to the team.

Chances will come and he will take them.

Killman & Todibo should have sore neck and hips tonight after Solanke constantly spun them around taking the ball from both time & again. What a brilliant footballer Solanke is

I can understand this, but one of the main reasons today was West Ham playing incredibly deep and made it their main objective to block crosses (the reason we had a bazillion corners).

The chances will come, I'm sure.

A few times I thought he'd lost the ball today only for him to come away from the melee with the ball at his feet and their defenders chasing his shadow.
Not just strong but skillful too he definitely is what we said we needed last season and he's getting better.

There was a moment first half where Johnson lost the ball high up and Solanke was busting a gut to get back straight away. Love that.

Don't think I fully appreciated Solanke's all round game until now. His strength, hold up play and dribbling ability is up there. He is a work horse for sure.
