Goes straight to my fantasy team, hope he starts against Leicester. Can see him scoring even if he gets only 30 minutes or so.

If he's keen to be on the pitch I don't see the harm in having him on the bench today. It would be incredible for him to get a few minutes in front of a packed out THS. I'm presuming there is no registration time requirement for a friendly.

Regardless I'm really happy with the signing. I, like most others, had a fair few reservations about the level he's at, but after watching videos and listening to podcasts I'm fully sold on him.

Good luck Dom!

he’s unbelievably keen . He was meant to conclude this morning but wanted it all done asap . Think today might come too early but he sure has made himself available !
Love to hear that. Whilst I may have some reservations and the price isn’t small I do love that attitude from him. Now is the time to put any doubts to one side and back the man completely.

Yea my thoughts exactly. Honestly I'm a bit underwhelmed but fuck it have to go all in now and hearing someone is that keen on joining us does give me hope he will do everything he can to make it at a big club.
Let's go Dom

Yep. He wasn’t my choice when potential targets were being thrown around.

But I am aware that I’m just a dipshit fan giving my opinion based on limited knowledge.

Regardless of my previous analysis I do have that excited feeling that goes with a big signing and it should go without saying that he has my full support.

Not sure I see why people are so hyped about him but fantastic to see he is really keen and I hope that he shoves my words back down my throat.

welcome to the club, may you score goals and win trophies

To have 2 strikers that both know the league inside out and with slightly different skills sets but able to lead the line on their own is very cool. Immediately frees up sonny to be the main man on the left again. Squad is starting to take shape nicely.

Welcome Dom!

Well, its not that hype is on Solanke himself. For me, its purely down to the fact that we have 3 players in forward line who scored more than 10 goals last season in PL. How many team has that ?

Son -17 goals 11 assist
Solanke - 19 goals 3 assist
Richarlison - 11 goals 4 assist

Kulu - 8 goals 3 assists
Johnson - 5 goals 10 assist

Add another dribly winger we are looking for...Personally, I am really excited for next season. I feel we will have sustained attack hopefully will last through season and in all competitions

Very happy with this. I was initially underwhelmed but the more I think about it the more I like this signing. He definitely strengthens us considerably and give us finally some real depth up front which we have lacked for years in truth.

I've definitely warmed to the Solanke move - not just from what he will bring us on the pitch but that attitude and willingness to improve will serve him and by extension, us as fans really well and it's a characteristic that Ange will massively approve of.

Provides a legitimate dual threat up top now with Richarlison and even more importantly keeps Son locked in his best position wide left.

Still work to do this transfer window but I think we can all back Solanke to smash it here!

I thought you said “dribbly whinger” and I was immediately thinking what Australian could he mean, because there’s a fair share of them over here.

Absolutely love this, especially after what has happened with Neto. This is the mentality we need not mercenaries!
