Every game I see him, the more convinced I am that he's the real deal. He reminds me a lot of Dele in how naturally the game seems to come to him. Genuinely no ceiling.

Sorry but this guy is class. Came on at cb and showed so much confidence both defensively and on the ball.

Hope he gets a run in the team at rb if the injuries settle down

If Spence continues to apply himself he could easily become the best full back in the Premier League. I don’t think that’s an overstatement at all. Is there anything he hasn’t got in his locker? He is basically Kyle Walker with a better brain and technique from what I am watching of him.

He's looking ridiculously composed right now, but working hard and switched on with it.

I love Porro but he seems to be suffering a bit at the moment, so at least we've got quality options.

I bet he's on City's radar already...to replace Walker.

I struggle to understand why previous managers and to some degree Ange questioned his ability, as he has been a revelation so far
From what I have read in the past, managers have not questioned his ability but there have been issues with his attitude. It looks like he has turned that around and allowing him to show his ability.

He’s certainly our best FB now on either side and it’s not particularly close.

I honestly wouldn’t take £60m for him at the moment, the way he is playing. And if he keeps this up all season that price is £100m plus

Agree mate. His ceiling is massive.

Going to be the best full back in the league by the end of next season.

A tad superlative there mate but I do think he’s on his way to assuming first choice full back duties.

Looking forward to when we have a full strength backline with Spence deployed at RB and in fact it’d be interesting to hear people’s thoughts on what their first choice backline (incl. keeper) actually are because Spence and Kinsky have really thrown their hat into the mix.

The Italian loan did him a world of good, this is what we have needed Kinski challenging Vicario, Spence challenging Porro, Deki challenging Madders, more of this approach is what is needed to make us competitive

Don't really care who's better between Spence and Udogie.

Glad we have both of them.

Is worth noting though that Udogie has been overplayed and keeps getting injuries. Don't think he's been at his best since that injury last season.

Also Udogie is 2 years younger and in a new country.

So we can look forward to them both going forward!

I actually think our strongest fullback pairing could be Udogie and Spence.

Rose and Walker 2.0

Interesting that he played CB at youth level and only moved to full back because he lacked dominance in the air

Should start Wednesday.

Don’t think that’s in question. Udogie is out for 6 weeks so DJed will be left back until then.

He’s looking really good. We haven’t seen him much in attacking areas but he looking like a solid defender. Much more secure than both Porto or Udogie have shown this season.

Great to have at least 3 strong full back options.
