So happy to see Djed get meaningful minutes in a meaningful game and he let nobody down today. He was positive, quick and so dynamic and that must be down to Ange and the confidence he has instilled in him. I want to massively praise Djed for coming back in for pre-season with the right attitude to make it with Spurs and grabbing a squad place with both hands, particularly as he is playing on the opposite side to that with which he made his name. While he will undoubtedly be disappointed to be out of the Europa League squad he has shown Ange unequivocally that Destiny can be rested in the PL and the League Cup without us missing a beat.
