He's younger and HG also which is such a bonus. Emerson Royal is like playing a CB in Ange's system at RB when compared to Spence, as back-up he's got to get it with Gray if needed as a more defensive option

Emerson will get his move to Milan, I feel it's a matter of when not if.

He has been so good in preseason. I really really hope he has turned a corner as far as his seriousness and Ange, as he has everything we would want in a back. Hes been brilliant.

seems to have put in a lot of work and made some real strides. Hopefully he can keep pushing in the right direction. Really does feel like a good positional / strategic fit for this system.

challenge will be when teams start targeting him defensively, but hopefully he can make strides there too if he feels supported by club and manager

We did exactly that with Bentaleb and he immediately turned into Billy Big Bollocks and flushed a promising career down the pan. Don't see how it makes much difference. You win some, you lose some.
