Well well well, what a surprise.

Another skint continent club.

Laughable really. This attitude wouldn't work in any other walk of life.

Imagine pulling up to the Audi garage and crowing with enthusiasm and delight about a potential purchase, only to cop a deafen when the price is announced.
Moreover, adopting victim-mentality in the aftermath and blaming Audi for selling an expensive car.

Spot on. Absolutely baffling.

Well well well, what a surprise.

Another skint continent club.

All of the big teams in Europe have stacked the league and TV rights in their favour. It is why the PL is so competitive, we share the money. Now imagine how much better the league would be without the financial doping from the likes of City and Chelsea, with the former owned by a state.

All these teams do it. Try and get prem players for cheap but then rinse us when we approach us for one of their players. I don't blame them, but it's f*cking annoying when you're trying to shift players.

I wonder if we could do a deal with Leicester for Spence. A few months ago, Spence said the following about his time under Steve Cooper. Their fullbacks last season was Pereira and Justin, who are both quite injury-prone.

Cooper is a great coach, he understood me as a player and as a person, that was very important. He worked for England youth, he had that experience of younger players and people coming from different backgrounds and knowing how to deal with certain players - that played a big part in it.

With Cooper, he’ll make you feel confident, he’ll ask you questions, he’ll speak to you like a normal human; that plays a big part in football. We don’t just go to work and press a button and we just function and play. We’re human, we like interaction, we like to speak.”

Looked brilliant tonight, obviously there’s still the question mark over his attitude. Such a shame cos he looks made for the role

As far as attitude goes, he comes across as someone who priorities looking cool over everything. I get the same impression from Bissouma and they are often seen hanging out together when at Spurs.
I can imagine Biss and Spence working under Conte was a lot like watching a parent lecturing their teenage child. Lots of attitude and eye rolling.
Obviously a talented player. But I imagine the only way he stays this summer is if he continues to be a stand out player throughout pre-season.,

He was outstanding.

Some of the runs he made - both showed off his pace, but several were just off-the ball runs made with real intent - i.e. that was putting in the work, without expecting the reward. To me, those were as impressive as any with the ball, or even the crosses.

Hope he keeps up this effort. Still don't think he's good enough but can't fault his effort today which was top class and will earn him good grace with Ange and his staff. Great for us if it helps to put him in the shop window. Long may he continue like this.

Would solve 2 issues if he stays to be rotation RB spot.

We get a RB back up who is home grown and also lets gray play CM more than RB back up.
