Neil Warnock was Boro manager at the time. He said this about allowing Spence to leave on loan:Can anyone explain why Boro loaned him out?
Can anyone explain why Boro loaned him out?
They've got Isaiah Jones who is legit. We should take a look. Here's a match comp of himIt's only Reddit, but someone on there was suggesting the Boro fans would be quite happy to see him sold ?
Assume he's been better on loan than he was before that
Thought it was confirmed that the "current" Forest player we were looking at was Brennan Johnson?
We had ITK that Hitchen had a side project of targeting young homegrown players like we used to doI’m not going to pretend I’ve seen him before (outside the Arsenal game) or know anything about him, but it doesn’t look great from the outside.
Read a couple of articles questioning his commitment and effort. He’s 21 and on loan from a championship club. And for all those worried about Traore’s statistics, Spence has 3 goals and 1 assists in 81 career games in the championship.
If it’s a cheap punt on a young player who has taken a step forward and may have the raw tools to be a good RWB, sign me up.
If it’s a Traore alternative, oh dear oh dear…
That’s what I’m hoping this is part of. He fits the bill for that perfectly and I’m excited by the prospect of us signing these players instead of Leicester, West Ham etc.We had ITK that Hitchen had a side project of targeting young homegrown players like we used to do
He did play, dont think it was his debutThe general narrative on Spence is that he’s very talented and has a high ceiling but has attitude/arrogance problems ??
Sign him up!!!
I swear I remember him making his debut for Middlesbrough against us a few years ago?
Maybe in the FA cup?
I'm not surprised if they have this Isiah Jones kid.I live near Middlesbrough and play football with a lot of Boro fans. All of them were so pleased he played well in the FA Cup so his price was bumped up. None want to keep him and are happy to see him go (especially for an overinflated price).
