It's weird how he was more consistent when he was younger. No way I'd sell him, or even consider it, but his future here looks increasingly as a squad player. He's just not very good on the ball for that position to be guaranteed a start

We should cash in on him. I don’t know who would buy him though. He’s Everton level.

He’s deluded if he thinks he’s undroppable. I can honestly see it ending in tears with Alli and Jose, surely he will wisen up to the fact Alli just isn’t very good.

I didn´t know the Alli´s were triplets. Even the brother that played for us under Pochettino was better than this one.

LOL at the Football Managers in here, I hope you keep grinding your teeth and wetting yourselves after every performance, it's funny as fuck.

If I was his team mate and that boot bounced and cracked me in the head, there would've been words.

As for Dele, he was ok enough in the first half when Leipzig were well and truly on top. He got moved to the wing in the second half and was invisible really. Lamela was more suited to the role and proved it.

He's just not on his game at the moment, but I don't know how much of that is because he doesn't fit with what we are doing.

I am going to have his back here... what do you expect from him when he has athankless task playing as a false nine and getting hoof balls played up to him then when he does get the ball he has three swarming around him whilst he is waiting to get support.

I just dont get how you can blame him when he is at his best when he gets the ball and has support so he can join up midfield with attack

I am gonna say it again: he's not good enough. Two good seasons and that's pretty much it.

We should sell him during summer while we can still get a bit of money.

No surprise we got a lot better once he went off, he's technically not good enough nor is he a dynamic enough athlete to make up for his short comings.

He's the definition of a flat track bully luxury player.

I keep hearing this but never see it. He's best when he's given the ball on a plate from Toby pinging a 70 yard ball on a coin, where on occasion he has some semblance of football player and manages to control and finish the ball. 90% of the time he's completely ineffective and detrimental to the way we play.

Him and Lucas on the field at the same time is never going to allow us to keep the ball.

Alli is a luxury, when he was both scoring and creating goals he was a luxury we could afford. These days he’s a shadow of his former self and he doesn’t fit into our tactics, often leaving us unbalanced in either midfield or up top. Mourinho past and present likes 2 players for each position, Alli will be finding himself frozen out if he doesn’t seriously up his game.

Think he proved that he isn't a wide player, which is something Poch was trying to round peg square hole him into ...

Worked his bollocks off, no issue with his nature afterwards. Reckon he is key to Jose moving forward.

He has had poor performances int he last year and ahalf but so has everyone on that team. Then we come to this period with Jose and our approach is to hoof it which he isnt going to do much with half the time.

Not sure how he is completely detrimental to the way we play when the way we play is hoof ball for 70 mins. If we played those tactis in the last 20 with him in it he would have done much better because in my view he is suited to that way of playing.

I can’t believe you actually still have people coming on and defending him like they are. Please don’t blame it on fitness or tactics, he’s just not good enough. Week in week out he’s shit and ineffective, he’s been out of form for two years now. His first two seasons are ancient memory.

He’s technically poor. He’s slow. That’s a terrible combination for an attacking player.

He has been a great player for us, bursting on the scene and doing fantastically well. Just feel with him, he is at bit of a crossroads. Teams have wised up to his strengths imo and I suppose the question is, is he able to evolve and take his game up a notch or two and pose the oppo other questions. Just feels as though he needs to maybe look to add a few more strings to his bow as sometimes can feel he is a bit one dimensional and teams can snuff out his threat. When that happens, feels as though he is being carried and is more of a hindrance to the team.

Still young but it's down to him to really work on his game and not rest on his laurels. If not, In danger of becoming bit of a playground player in that he can pull of some wonderful bits of skill but you see him try a lot of the same thing over and over again with little success. His main strengths generally revolve around about getting on the end of things and getting goals and also pulling off a bit of skill to create a goal for himself. Capable of a nice touch/pass now and again to play someone in but it's something that doesn't appear nowhere near enough in his game.

He needs direct competition and for JM to better manage his motivation. I forget which game it was recently, but as soon as he we subbed on, he was the best player on the field and I think even helped assist a goal.

It's a football discussion forum. Opinions on football are clearly relevant.
The same shite day in day out? Copy paste would be quicker.

Dele just annoys people and is one player want to kick, please keep doing it, he'll keep turning up. It'll be Winks again soon, but not right now.
