One day these players will look back with regret at the way they've hung Poch out to dry but ATM these are meaningless platitudes.

One way to thank him Dele would have been with a performance that didn't consist of jog, flick, jog, flick...

Interesting to see how a new man deals with some of these players.

Can see him returning to his 16/17 form under Mourinho if he can get his fitness right.

He’s a massive upgrade on Lingard who Mourinho got 13 G/A out of in the equivalent of ~20 nineties in 17/18 and his runs in behind can hopefully benefit from Kane’s passing improvement.

he called Poch a friend instead of boss, gaffer.
Shows you how much things has gone wrong.

In comparison, Solsjaer continues to refer Sir Alex as boss

? I’ll assume it’s fake then ?

Bit boring for a fake but then again if it was juicier, it would’ve been even less believable.

“There’s no hiding how I feel about The Poch,”

“He’s an amazing person who helped me a lot in my career and in [my personal] life as well.

“He’s someone who definitely means a lot to me. Poch built something amazing here and a lot of players owe a lot to him in terms of how much we’ve improved being here and playing at Tottenham.

“Words can’t describe how much we care about him, and how thankful I am and the team are to him as well.

“But this is football and things like this happen. We have to turn it around now and focus on the new challenges ahead.

“With the new manager coming in, we just have to build trust again and make sure we get ready and playing the way we know we can.

“It’s the start of a new chapter.”

No need to assume - he has no Twitter history prior to 2014 (it's been deleted/archived) and for that username/handle/visual style to exist it would have had to have been screenshotted recently. Usual internet fakery.

Ok I hold my hands up and was wrong to say we should sell Ali, he’s playing fantastic today and hopefully he’s back to his best.

As I've been saying for ages. Certain players were being told to play in a way that wasn't natural for them The roles certain players were being asked to do to fit Pochs stupid diamond bollocks was holding them back. By the time he had dropped it it was too late. Confidence in his methods and much changed philosophy had gone.

All Jose has done is told him to play his game again.
