Started brightly today few nice touches then reverted back to old Dele. Fannying around, too many touches, zero football intelligence.

He played well, yeah he missed chances and should have buried atleast one but he had some good moments and pressed well.

It’s a shame what’s happened/happening with him. I remember when the people were saying ‘take the goals away and there’s not much left’

The goals have been taken away. Hate to say it but we can upgrade on this version of him, quite easily too. There’s attainable targets within our own league let alone abroad

His finishing was poor but to say he was utter shite is an overreaction but suits your agenda.

Have to agree. Dele's movement and positioning was exceptional today. He kept getting in all the right spots.

Unfortunately his finishing was Conference class. But I'd be much more worried if he wasn't getting chances.

I went today and he looks a far better player in the flesh than on TV. He got himself into a number of great positions, and his lack of a left foot ultimately let him down. He needs to become less wasteful in all aspects of his game..

I think he’s lacking a bit of confidence and having to play a different role. When he is playing behind a proper striker you see the best of him.

His shooting for a forward player is actually so so bad. Especially his shooting from any further out than about 12 yards.

It’s weird to say on the surface considering the number of goals he has scored so far in his career but if you analyse, 99% of his goals are poacher goals. Taps in, sliding the ball in, the odd header. He’s maybe scored what two goals from outside the box in his spurs career, and maybe one or two goals from inside the box where you could say it was actually a decent shot, like the goal against Brighton at home, the rest of the time his shooting is piss poor. He’s so wasteful with chances if you give him any time to think.

Such a limited player.

There are very few players who regularly score from outside the box. And Ive never considered this to be what is expected of him.

Today his finishing was shocking, but normally in those sort of situations he is above average finishing off those sort of chances as a midfield player.

Played well today despite poor finishing. He was in the right positions to make it happen. On another day he scores a hattrick with that performance. He's quality and we're lucky to have him.

I've been saying this for 2 season and I will say it again: time to cash in while he's still worth something.

We could get Grealish or anyone that is miles better than him with the amount of money we will get.

I think it’s a tough balance in the team with him playing with Son and Moura as despite all of their skill they all struggle with decision making. Stevie helps and he fits well with Harry but I’d love to see ndombele playing his role just for added creativity. Son, Alli and Lucas all need those creative guys around them. Also doesn’t help with Dier in central midfield.
